I had not been there in several months and Jennifer (co-owner) saw me, came over and gave me a big hug. Also saw Robert (manager) - big hug from him. Hugs aside -- our food, drinks, and wait person (Jake) were fantastic!!! It's always a great experience. If you have not been there, give it a go - you won't regret it.

Absolutely horrible, I ordered the pork shank. First it comes out cold and on a cold plate. So I sent it back. Next they bring it back to me and they added some lukewarm aju, now my mash potato have separated... and now i have mash potato soap. The shank was dry as hell and has Absolutely no FLAVOR. Not even salt and pepper!!!. It's like these new chef love presentation but forget to flavor their food. Very nice plating, but the flavor is nonexistent. But let's be fair, white people don't like their food flavored. And this place makes sure they do not get any flavor at all. I would rather have a meal with flavor than a pretty plate any dayWould not recommend this place at ALL!!!

I liked the vibe at Neuse River. It was very chill. I had a Chavela with a shot of tequila, and I enjoyed it. It was very refreshing. I also had the Duck Poutine, which was amazing even though it wasn’t really a real poutine. I topped it all off with the Creme Brulee. I would definitely visit again to chill, have some good food and good drinks!

Great food!! Reasonable prices and high quality. One of our regular spots for brunch. They revamped their kitchen few years back, lot of locally sourced stuff, rotating menu, the beers are solid and some creative cocktails in a laid back dining area and dog friendly outdoor patio.

We called late Saturday afternoon to get a private room for a family gathering on Sunday evening to reminisce about a family member before his funeral the next day. Every place we contacted was booked and a couple of them recommended NRBB. Our local guests were excited when we told them the venue and remarked how good the food is. Jennifer quickly accommodated us and we had a wonderful gathering of ~25 people. Jake and the rest of the staff were awesome and the food hit the spot. Thank y’all for a nice evening and a place for friends and family to gather.

Food is great here. Love the cozy environment and the elevated menu. Sometimes a wait due to it being a small restaurant and no reservations, so need to plan accordingly. Def get the burger!

Enjoyed brunch! Excellent beer, with just as many wine and imported ciders available, and a full bar for cocktails. Everything from French toast to a burger and healthy delicious salads available. Would love to come back when it's warmer and the big glass garage doors can be open to the outside!

We love this place. The food is amazing, as well as the atmosphere. Burgers and drinks are first class.I also like the fact that it's a little off the beaten path and is sort of hidden back in the neighborhood, which gives it a really friendly vibe. The servers and staff are friendly and helpful too! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Not great burger. we read reviews on how good it was. It was probably the driest burger I've ever had in my life would not recommend the food here we did have one beer and it was good.

First time here, and these guys nailed it. I traveled the world, and this food is fantastic, as close as it gets to authentic French cuisine. And yes, the beer is superb, too. Something you will not expect for a brewery. Folks, you need to go.
