This place is so incredible, I don't know where to begin. I went in for lunch today and sat at a table in Mia's section. I was having some trouble deciding on what I wanted to do food wise, but I never felt rushed or in the way. My table was under a skylight and when Mia saw me squinting, she, completely unprompted, moved me over a table so I could get out of the sun. I started with the roasted cauliflower, which was awesome--I really loved the spicy aioli. I'm not usually a whiskey person, but when I saw the rack of assorted bitters, I decided to get an old fashioned and it did not disappoint. The beer I had was excellent as well. For my entree, I finally decided on the chicken sandwich with fries. Since it was not quite time for the fryer (they were at the tail end of brunch), Mia gave me the option of waiting so I could get fries. I was in no hurry and needed some time to digest my cauliflower, so I did. They were definitely worth the wait!! I like to have aioli with fries, so I ordered a side of herb aioli. Noticing this, Mia brought me some of their beet ranch for my fries as well, which was also quite flavorful. (I ended up rotating between the herb aioli and the ranch.) Since I was full of cauliflower, the super tasty chicken sandwich, and the incredible fries, I had to take my pot de creme dessert to-go, which Mia comped for me because of my fortitude for waiting for the crispy hot fries. I mean, who does that? I don't come to Raleigh often, but I've definitely found my new favorite place and my new favorite server. Hands down, the best service I've ever had in a restaurant.

First time here while visiting Raleigh. Great restaurant, staff and atmosphere. The manager Jeff suggested delicious food and drinks which all were on point! He was very nice, friendly and professional helping us with anything we needed. Highly suggest stopping by here for a great meal, drinks and staff. Will be back again for sure! Thank you Jeff!!

Great food, great service, however just know it is loud, about as loud as a kids cafeteria lunch time. So be prepped to talk loud and not hear that well. Other then that will be back and sit outside. Great service

Modern. Ton of whiskey. Big beautiful bar. Best lamb burger in town. Killer fries. Good Gluten-free options. Great place to sit outside. Parking nearby.

The food overall was mediocre however the crispy broccoli and sauce were delicious. The grits were grainy and the tomato based sauce didn’t really have any flavor. The side salad was plain and I regretted order it. My husband and son enjoyed their chicken sandwich and burgers but they were not worth the price. The service was fine and the atmosphere is nice.

Speechless. Long story short, my friends and I went out for a friends birthday celebration. As we are eating, a steel/metal chair my friend is sitting on SNAPS and breaks. My friend falls flat on the ground. The entire restaurant was surprised and took notice. The best part: the “manager” or someone approaches us and says “I’m going to check every chair in here and make sure they are good, I’m sorry about what happened, have a great night” word for word. Lol, wild. How about offer to pick up his bill? Or how about a beer? Or how about anything at all besides trying to sweep it under the rug.. unprofessional establishment, terrible management and staff. We will never be back.

First visit here. Glad I came. Excellent food (lamb burger, green salad, shrimp/grits). Friendly service. Very noisy initially. Reasonable prices. Large portions. Old fashioned was strong Red rider was weak.

As an African American citizen, I am truly astonished @ the Server Dustin, who was very kind to me. I have been having a very very rough week and he went above and beyond to simply get my request filled. ? All without judgement ? percent with grace. He made my night amazing. God bless that gentleman. ??

Having half of the outside space open on a perfect March Sunday afternoon while the other 8 tables sit empty is the dumbest thing I ever heard. Other than that, good drinks and food. We had to go somewhere else because I wanted to be outside.

5/5 for this friendly buzzy eatery in downtown, airy Raleigh. Service was perfect, attentive not over-bearing. Incredible selection of American and world whiskies and enjoyed a flight of NCs finest with a well-cooked and tasty chicken sandwich and fries. 100% recommend this to all travellers to Raleigh.
