“Overall good experience. The food is typical of what you’d expect from classic Americanized Mexican, they are very liberal with the cheese in a good way. The cocktails were great and reasonably priced with a large assortment of tequilas as well as variety of your normal liquors. The atmosphere is intimate and fun with lots of color. The staff was friendly and pretty easy to get access to. Will definitely be back when I want a good drink and a light snack.“
“The place is terrific, with terrific owners and customers. The new partner in the store has some great ideas about making the place even better. I really think you'll want to visit here when searching for a nice glass of wine and chatting with people who become instant friends.“

“First time in and everyone was so welcoming and kind. I asked the baristas their favorite hot coffee drink and everyone recommended the white chocolate cinnamon bun mocha. I got it to go, and it is without a doubt one of the best specialty made coffee I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Definitely recommend, and I will be back!“

“Great food! Great service! The servers were attentive, patient, helpful and responsive. My sole concern is with the bar seating. It's very uncomfortable, especially for older patrons. In addition, the chairs are very heavy and difficult to maneuver. But that is the only criticism I have. I really enjoy this restaurant and I hope it thrives in Asheboro.“

“Our waitress was awesome! Ryleigh Smiley - appropriate name for her. She never stopped smiling, checked on us frequently, made great suggestions for our meals, and she is a great sales person. Ryleigh suggested a fried cherry pie that was delicious. We traveled to Asheboro for a cousin's funeral - emotional day - Ryleigh was a blessing. The food was great. Thank you Ryleigh for taking the time to make our sad day better.“

“We were at a soccer tournament at the Zoo City Sportsplex, and we needed a spot for the families to hang after a game. This was the perfect find! We had fun trying the different beers on tap, and there were plenty of games to keep the kids busy. We ate appetizer style food, but it was all delicious. The host was also friendly and put up with our lively crowd with no problems. Recommend!“

“Super busy on a Saturday night with a half hour wait that I spent wandering the streets of Asheboro but the hostess was very nice about it. I arrived a few minutes after the text message that my table was ready.Still leaning hard into my keto diet, I went with the chicken wings. They were apparently cooked fresh as they took about 15 minutes to arrive, still very hot from the fryer and swimming in sauce. The "Buffalo" was actually still quite spicy so the small pot of blue cheese dressing was helpful as I demolished the wings. Meaty and cooked properly, my only complaint is the bath of sauce.Friendly service, noisy and fun atmosphere, it was a good evening.Parking: Street parking and a municipal lot nearby.“

“I really enjoyed seeing friends after so long. Freddie's is a private bar so things are a little different. I have gotten very used to not being around smoking in bars and restaurants but it is allowed here. Fortunately, there were very few smokers inside so it wasn't too bad. Most people went to the patio to smoke.“
