“Yesterday we had our first meal here, and we know it is the first of many. First I have to say the salsa is scrumptious. One of us had the Chicken Fajitas and felt it was one of the best ever. I had the California Chicken Burrito, and it was exceptional. The atmosphere is a beautiful blend of neutral walls, wooden beams and large windows with beautiful Mexican art work. It feels up to date and welcoming while not being predictable or kitchie. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. “This is an amazing bakery in downtown Asheboro! Growing up, my mom would bring me by if I got a good report card. Today, I stopped by to get some sweets to celebrate Valentine's Day! Their design cookies are my daughter's absolute favorite--they were out of the plain but had the decorated dinosaurs (which are even better!) Over the years, we've had cakes and pies from Central Bakery and would 100% recommend.“

“We tried going to a Thai place in Asheboro, but they were closed, so my sister found this place that was not too far from the original place we were thinking of going. What an amazing decision that was! We came around lunch time, so they had a special lunch menu with what I assume are smaller portions and lower prices. I got the pad see ew, which was absolutely delicious, and incredibly filling! The pad see ew was simple, but flavorful, and I got it with pork. The other ingredients, carrots, egg, and broccoli went amazingly well with the sauce and protein choice. It came with a spring roll and dipping sauce, too. The spring roll was delicious, and the sauce was as well! We got a sweet tea and it was the best sweet tea I've had in North Carolina! The service was incredible- the place has a relatively small dining area so the server was able to look at the tables with relative ease and kept our drinks filled. The people working were super nice and welcoming! I would highly recommend it here.“

“Recently this establishment was bought by one of the best Chef's in the area, Kevin Arevalo. He also worked at highly revered "The Table" in Asheboro, N.C. Nothing but pure excellence there that he has now brought into his own restaurant! He's a super nice guy and his food is nothing short of spectacular! “Excellent little diner with fantastic food and wait staff. Nickie has been our server many times. She is super sweet and takes care of all our dining needs. She goes above and beyond to make sure our food is prepared the way we ordered it and checks on us several times to make sure we have condiments, napkins, utensils and refills on drinks even when it is super busy!! “The food is delicious here and offers some different choices than other similar restaurants in town. They have a shrimp pasta dish with a chipotle cream sauce and sliced avocado that quickly will become your favorite dish. The burritos are tasty and I enjoy their refried beans. “Zekos pizza in Asheboro, NC, is another hidden gem. The service was good. I ordered my food togo and I received it hot and ready. I ordered a large ham and pepperoni stromboli and a chicken taco salad. The stromboli was huge, you can tell by the picture. It was loaded with ham and pepperoni, and the cheese pull was crazy. Also, the chicken taco salad was loaded, and it was big as well. I spent about $25 in total, and I must say it was worth every penny. Overall, my food was amazing, and I would definitely recommend this place.“
