“We went with a group of 17 people. They had 2 waitresses for our group and they were very attentive. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that I thought dessert was a little expensive, but drinks were cheaper than some places so that made it okay in the long run. “

“It was our first visit to the angus steakhouse in hickory, nc. It was the best dine in experience we have EVER encountered. It felt like a true small town steakhouse. The staff were super friendly, they came around frequently talking to each table. You can tell they truly enjoy their job and the customers. The food was quick to come out and so fresh. I highly recommend, and we will return without question. The owner and staff really pour their heart into that restaurant!“

“Thus place was so unique the kids and adults loved it! The waitress came back 4 times to check on us we alwayse had refills and the food came out fast and hot. For four of us to eat three of which were regular adult meals and one kids meal was 60.00 very reasonable for the quality of food and portions you get. If you get a chance to go get the potatoe salad it's homemade and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful experience.“

“I haven't been to a captain d's in many years. I had an unpleasant experience at one and couldn't go back. I was so wonderfully surprised at t this place. The did was fresh tasting and hot. We had the senior plate, and that was enough for us and a good bargain. The crew was very nice and the dining room was clean and comfortable.“

After that, no big deal the first mess up, however the next 3 times after I got cheese in my HAMburger (you even have to ADD cheese as an extra) no butter or sour cream with a baked potato, and the hot fudge sundae w/ice cream all put together to go. This typically comes separate and never had to specify, When I called, I was told they don't separate UNLESS you specify....sorry, but how does that even make sense? It's ice cream...and a hot fudge cake. I've never specified, that's how I know the ice cream comes in a little white separate pack....js The food is worth it, just make the drive.“

“Had early Saturday night dinner there. The atmosphere was quiet and hardly any patrons. Even so, they sat my Mom and I in a booth directly next to the stacked up children's high chairs nook. It was not crowded at all, so wondering why we got what is probably the worst table in the house. The food came very quickly and was undercooked. We are nice ladies, so we didn't complain. 3 stars at best.“

“Our cousin brought us here for lunch after a morning of shopping. There were 9 of us with 4 of those being kids. I wasn't sure how this would go. We were seated outside downstairs, and there were plenty of things to keep the kids occupied while waiting on the food. The best part was that the kids' food came out first!!! That is a huge thing for parents of young children. After they finished eating, they again played while the adults finished and could easily see the kids playing. Our server was fabulous as well as the food! As an out of towner, I would definitely recommend stopping by.“

“While I didn't get a chance to take any pictures. I was here January 6th 2024.I ordered green fried tomatoes and I must say they were delicious. Fresh crispy even the breading was crispy not soggy and it actually full of flavor.I ordered something with chicken must have not been very eventful in my mouth for me not to remember. “This is our favorite local burger place we always get the stretch burger done all the way and it is always to much food .. in a very good way. This place does get a little busy on the weekends so plan ahead and call in if you don't plan on sitting in a great part of our big small area keep doing great!“

“My wife and I frequent this Cracker Barrel in Morgantown NC. It's not far from our house and the food is really good. The last two times we were there, Sam was our waitress. Sam is very attentive, friendly and exactly what you'd want in a waitress. We go here at least once a month if not more.“

The ribs are enormous so be prepared to need a to go box if you are not a big eater. The corn bread was yummy.The bathroom was not very clean but usable which is a concern, at least for me, of how clean the kitchen is.This was not our first time here, bit it was the first time since the buffet has been opened every day of the week. We have been at least 2 other times before the buffet. This time was not as enjoyable as the other times but everyone is human and has a not good day. We will be back to give it another chance to prove this day is not the new normal.“

We call ahead & they know who we are when we come!!! Love the rewards cards, too! Order 10 sub or pizza combos & get 1 free. It adds up.
