“For a small town "hole in the wall" this place beat my expectations. KC was our server and she was friendly and helpful with the menu as it was our first time here.We started with jalapeño poppers and they were amazing. Peppers inside were soft so when you bite into them they dont pull right out of the breading, breading was gold and crisp. 10/10 there.I got the chicken breast, pinto beans, mac&cheese and cornbread. Chicken was flavorful and fairly moist. Beans and onions were good and I'll be back for more. Mac and cheese was good(a few cold spots however) and the cornbread was soft, moist about as good as I've had hear in NC.She had chicken tenders collard greens and Mac and cheese. She had no complaints, specifically said the ranch was great. Collard greens better than she's had before.Well be back !Kid-friendliness: Modest kid menu. Good kid friendly options.“
“After COVID hit Norman's Cafe stopped people from eating inside the restaurant. However, they have tables set up outside in the parking lot if you wish to sit down and eat. Norman's Cafe like everyone else is having trouble getting people to work for them. The employees they do have are very nice to talk to and they are very helpful. Outside and inside of the Cafe is neat and kept up very well. I'd come back again because, I had a great experience for my first time coming here.“
“This was a 50th Birthday dinner, and was amazing. Chef Mansour created a menu second to none. The dining room was elegant and inviting. He sat and talked with us between courses, and truly made us feel like family. Highly recommend, and will be back often…“

“Jan's has always been THE spot to grab a great comfort bite to eat! This morning my sausage biscuit and scrumptious "tater wedges" hit the spot! I'm not a person to eat potato wedges, but from Jan's I could definitely eat more than an unhealthy amount and be completely satisfied.“

“I ordered Over Easy Eggs French Toast & Liver MushThe eggs were on point the French Toast was good & the Liver Mush was a little over cooked on the outside so it was a little extra crispy & it had a burnt taste to it so I just won't order the Liver Mush again but other than that I will come back & try other food & so far the prices are good as well & the atmosphere feels cozy & the staff are friendly & nice“
“My husband and I stopped here cause we were looking for a new place to go for date night. We both absolutely loved it the food was delicious. The service was great we sat at the bar and couldn't have asked for better service. Everything was reasonably priced and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back it was probably one of the best dining experiences we have ever had.“

“Very good double cheeseburger with bacon and skinny fries. My service was excellent. My food was delicious and a great big burger. I almost couldn't eat it all. It didn't take very long to get my order. This was my first time there. There is an upcharge for using a credit card so I paid in cash.“
