“Loved the food, the beer selection, and the views! We went at an odd time, but the place was still busy. My husband appreciated the way the shrimp was prepped and cooked. The salad was a great portion and very filling. The Old Bay chips and the hush puppies were really good appetizers. We will be back!”
“The food is very good, homemade cuisine, you feel like you are eating mom's food, very familiar atmosphere, lovely, I would go back more often if it were closer to my house, I definitely recommend itKid-friendliness: A relaxed, colorful, and easy-on-the-eyes placeWheelchair accessibility: It has an access ramp, door sized for wheelchair users”
“My husband and I stopped by late night on a Saturday to grab a drink. We had the best time during an unexpected karaoke night with the DJ Marty and bartender Coach (the best ever.) we ended up getting food as a late night snack and the wings and pork sandwiches are on the top of our list!!! We will def be there more often and ordering wings from there for our “wing fix.” Loved this place so much and can’t wait to return!!!”
“The food was very, very good. There were three of us in our party tonight on a Thursday. The place was busy. The bartender had to take care of us. Even though there was no one at the bar, she was busy serving people and doing drinks. The cesar salad was a delicious start with crispy bacon and shaved parmesan. I had the papardelle bolonese, it was excellent! My brother in law had the Manfedi Ragu. This dish was delicious. It had that warm home cooked meal taste that short ribs offer with pasta. My husband had the seafood risotto, I did not like it, but he loved it, so you see it's all according to your taste! We shared a bottle of the new montepulciano they have, and we liked that as well. I did not get to see the bill, but I don't think it could have been too crazy even with the bottle of wine. All in all, we will definitely be back. The food was awesome!”
“One of the best Chic-Fil-A’s. They’re busy but not overly so. People are kind, food is good and fast. Shallotte has a lot of fast food, but this is the best in town.”
“Love coming to this place for a nice dinner at the beach. Been coming for years and each time I get the Tuscany bc it is sooo good. Also love other menu items but that is by far my favorite.”
“Great subs but a little pricey.UPDATE :I go here pretty regularly & I haven't had any real problems until tonight. My husband's was supposed to be a regular but turned out to be only 6 and 1/2 in long. It was also NOT supposed to have ANY jalapenos but he ended up finding 3 in his sub (it's very likely that there were more that my husband just missed). My son & I both ordered the #8 club sub & we both did NOT get bacon on our sandwiches. I tried to call the store twice with approximately 45 minutes in between calls and no one picked up. I'm going to try again in the morning and if no one has picked up I'm going to call corporate. This is definitely an unacceptable meal considering that I spent almost $35 on three sandwiches. No drinks, chips, cookies, brownies etc just the 3 sandwiches cost almost $35 which is very close to becoming ridiculous!!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: The website has dietary information.Parking: There's a decent amount of parking spots.Kid-friendliness: There's not a kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a couple of handicap spots.”
“The food was very good. Service was average, and our waitress was not very expressive or necessarily friendly. The food we had was well prepared and tasty. The pancakes are delicious. Cakes and pastries are very good with homemade flavors and texture. The space itself was clean and comfortable, but a little bit close quarters. It is well worth a visit to The Purple Onion.Wheelchair accessibility: Maybe a bit tight for a wheelchair.”
“Out with friends, and our waitress didn't shoo us out after we were clearly finished eating, but let us keep talking. So hard to choose because everything is so delicious! We keep coming back because we love it!”
“The food was good but if you're Gluten Free beware! I ordered a GF item (boil) from the dedicated GF menu and they served it with regular bread. The waitress didn't understand cross contamination and the seriousness of Gluten Free items.Food was good but the management team has to do better in educating their staff on the importance of Gluten Free”
“Chilli's food is awesome, I usually get the Ribs because they are out of this world delicious! And one fact, just because their name is Chili's doesn't mean all their food is hot ( like pepper,) their menu has something good for everyone!”
“I was at the Smithfield in Shallotte. A guy named LJ was working the window. There was a few minute wait on my order and he knocked off a few dollars from my total. He also gave me an extra cup of ice because I told him how much I like the ice, I went inside to wash my hands and use the restroom and he came out with the food. I gave him a tip For being so nice and he told me that he just got into this kind of work. That he worked on the dredge before, and just gotten into a bad car accident. I recommend anybody to go there, if for nothing else, but the kindness and generosity of the staff.”
“Decorated as a shrine to college football , easy , relaxed atmosphere. The fried flounder and fried oysters were melt in your mouth delicious. The fried shrimp was stiff and overly breaded, maybe was prefrozen. French fries were not straight out of the fryer and a little cold. I didn't care for the slaw but I can be picky. I would return for the fried flounder and oystersWent back for a second visit. Had a Po'boy shrimp sandwich. Delicious, shrimp was large, fresh and yummy”
“Went here on a date on Valentines day, the food was great, the atmosphere was awesome they even had little heart balloons and flowers at each table, the server was very nice. Great spot for date night!!”
“Good food and service in a timely fashion. Very clean and fair prices.Parking: As it's in a strip mall the parking is shared w/other businesses.Wheelchair accessibility: On ground level so it's wheelchair accessible.”
