Take a look at our favorite Shallotte Mexican restaurants.
“An excellent place to enjoy a Mexican cuisine. I couldn't give the food rating at five star. Not because it wasn't good but mostly because it was the same thing we get at any other Mexican restaurant of this caliber. Nothing on the menu really wowed me. It was pretty much what you would expect. And the atmosphere would have been a little nicer if the tables weren't so closely crowded together in the middle. The booths were nice but also a little cramped. As far as the alleyway you're given to walk by the other booths. The tables are kind of clustered. The weight staff however, was terrific. Overall I did give a five-star rating. But I felt a little tweaking needed to happen in the individual categories of atmosphere and food. I would definitely return and have many times. As a place to go. It's definitely always on the top three in town for me to go. Go out and see these fine folks. I'm sure you'll enjoy your meal.“
“Margarita night with friends. Very attentive waiter for our group of 14 - kept the drinks, chips, and salsa coming during the short wait for our orders. Good food - should have done like others and boxed some to go instead of leaving stuffed!“
“Typical Taco BellVegetarian options: They have vegetarian options available but not many.Dietary restrictions: You can find out about dietary restrictions online.Parking: There's a decent number of parking spots available.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheelchair accessible parking spots and wheelchair accessible ramps.“
“We stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner after a walk on the beach, so it wasn't busy. We were seated immediately and given chips and salsa before giving our drink orders. Our server was friendly as we asked about gluten free options and he advised corn tortillas were available. We ordered and the food came out quickly. Everything was fresh and tasty. We only had soft drinks, so can't comment on their cocktails. We'll definitely come here again when we're in the mood for good Mexican food!“
“Birthday dinner for my grandson's 18th birthday. I had Guadalajara special which was 2 taquitos, nacho chips with both mix of beef and shredded chicken which were very tasty. The tamal was an interesting taste with good mole sauce but a bit bready for my taste. Wife had seafood fajitas which were good but included calamari which didn't really go. Everyone else was very happy with their choices, more than enough for everyone as demonstrated by 5 takeout boxes. Very reasonable price as 5 adults under $100. Well worth the 30 minute trip.“
“The food is very good, homemade cuisine, you feel like you are eating mom's food, very familiar atmosphere, lovely, I would go back more often if it were closer to my house, I definitely recommend itKid-friendliness: A relaxed, colorful, and easy-on-the-eyes placeWheelchair accessibility: It has an access ramp, door sized for wheelchair users“
