“Chef Dustin has a beautiful thing going here. The flavors of the shrimp and grits, shrimp salad, and the palomas were top notch. We had a culinary experience that we haven't had in a while. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, the outside is relaxed.I was worried this place would be a tourist trap but it was nothing like that.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free items are marked on the menu.“
“If you're looking for a pleasant dining experience, Mo's Wood Fired Kitchen is a hidden gem you won't want to miss. Upon entering, I was greeted by an ambiance that struck the perfect balance between clean and cozy, making it instantly apparent that comfort here is as much a priority as the food. The menu is straightforward, its simplicity works to its advantage, ensuring that every dish is created with care. What truly stole the show were the Wood Roasted Chicken and the Rústica pizza. The chicken, succulent and infused with the perfect amount of smokiness, fell off the bone, while the pizza boasted a delightful charred crust, topped with fresh, vibrant ingredients that danced on my taste buds. But a meal is about more than just the food. It's also about the overall experience, and this is where Mo's truly shines. Our waitress Mary was amazing. Her attentiveness and warm disposition added a lovely personal touch to our meal, making us feel both valued and well taken care of.Mo's Wood Fired Kitchen is a must-visit. It's the sort of place to go when you're in need of a comforting meal in a welcoming setting.“
“First time dining at Edgewater. Had the Edgewater Ceviche as appetizer, Seaside Cobb salad, NC Grits & Shrimp, and Local Fish of Day (pan seared Striper) with Brusselsprouts and pimento cheese grits. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Julie, our waitress, was attentive and provided amazing service. Highly recommend!!!“
“We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. Walked in and was able to secure a table. It was quite busy and the vibe was pretty good. I appreciate the open kitchen concept as it demonstrates transparency and shows that everyone is working together to create delicious food. Our server was fantastic and we enjoyed crab legs with shrimp / fish.Would return.Kid-friendliness: Family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Elevator available“

It was our first visit & we will definitely be back!!!“
“Went in on a crowded Friday and every customer had a smile on their face. The employees were all running back and forth and having fun. I felt genuinely cared about and they took an interest in me while checking out my order. My food was absolutely incredible. Definitely coming here next time I visit oak island. Wonderful place. “Our new favorite restaurant on Oak Island, we loved our food and server, Keely. Be warned, the appetizers are huge and can easily be a main dish. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Wonton Tacos from the starter menu as my main dish on Keely's recommenation and they were amazing! One that I'll probably get every time we visit. We also ordered the Crab and Shrimp Dip, which was a huge serving. We could have easily just split it for lunch and walked out happy.“
“It is always a great experience when I go to Saucy! Have been eating there since Matt opened and have never been disappointed! Recently had the strawberry stuffed French toast and it was fantastic! My taste buds were so happy! Wait staff always friendly and helpful!“
