3 coffee shop/patisserie in downtown. Gondolier and Lake mountain are I think my favorite. Coffee is top notch. Free wifi and there are so much sweets here. Galeto, different kind of cheesecake, pies, bars....I never seen a pecan crusted cheesecake before. Definitely a southern fusion. Everything is good. No complains. It is kinda expensive but worth it once a while

Embarking on a Goldwing excursion today led us to The Gondolier in Statesville, NC, an unsuspected culinary haven. Amidst the quaint ambiance, we indulged in a delightful array – coffees, cakes, pies, chocolates, baked goods, and gelato. The brewed perfection of our coffees harmonized with the symphony of flavors in the Tuxedo Double Decker cake that my wife savored. The barista, Miranda, orchestrated the experience with helpfulness, politeness, and genuine warmth. Opening the door unleashed a wave of delectable baking aromas. Our Sunday visit revealed ample parking, no wait, and an abundance of seating. While the charm may beckon crowds in summer, the wait promises to be worthwhile. The Gondolier earns high commendation for its scrumptious offerings – a future must-stop on our Statesville journeys.

My first visit here. My wife has been several times. Also my first time eating gelato and it was incredible. There were too many choices and they also have some local baked goods and chocolates. The gelato is made by the owner and her sister was running the place on our visit. Very friendly and welcoming. Nice place, will definitely be back.

I came here when another nearby bakery was closed during its advertised hours. The Gondolier has beautiful cakes, pies, and gelato! Caitlin was incredibly attentive, helpful, and professional. I will definitely return! 5-stars!

A wonderful charming place with a great atmosphere. If we lived closer we would probably come here every weekend. The quality of the gelato is second to none and we highly recommend this place.

I went with a group of friends The food and service was good with only 1 person. She was very nice & helpful. The only downside - you need to get there early for breakfast sandwiches. They only had 2 liver mush biscuits left at 10 am. I have been there for delicious gelato and will go again.Parking: Parallel parking on the street can be tricky. It depends the on time of dayKid-friendliness: Kids love ice cream and they can get a cone or cup of gelatoWheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the sidewalk. They have tables & booths and are willing to move things around to accommodate

This place is amazing! The cashier was super nice and personable. The desserts look amazing the gelato is perfect. I usually find that most places that make gelato do not know what they are doing. This place definitely does, and the difference shows in how much they care. The little touches they add are a testament to that. like the holiday sprinkles, or the way they make their breakfast sandwiches with real eggs that they lovingly wrap around the bacon in a little envelope that they place between a flakey biscuit. Delicious!!!? the coffee is excellent as well. Nice strong espresso!!! I think I’m in love!!!!?
