Embarking on a Goldwing excursion today led us to The Gondolier in Statesville, NC, an unsuspected culinary haven. Amidst the quaint ambiance, we indulged in a delightful array – coffees, cakes, pies, chocolates, baked goods, and gelato. My first visit here. My wife has been several times. Also my first time eating gelato and it was incredible. There were too many choices and they also have some local baked goods and chocolates. The gelato is made by the owner and her sister was running the place on our visit. Very friendly and welcoming. Nice place, will definitely be back.

3 coffee shop/patisserie in downtown. Gondolier and Lake mountain are I think my favorite. Coffee is top notch. Free wifi and there are so much sweets here. Galeto, different kind of cheesecake, pies, bars....I never seen a pecan crusted cheesecake before. Definitely a southern fusion. Everything is good. No complains.It is kinda expensive but worth it once a while
