“This place has the best chai latte I have ever had! Their sandwiches and pastries are also absolutely great. I appreciate their focus on seasonal, local ingredients. We only are in the area on a monthly basis, but never miss the chance to go to White Moon.”

“This is a nice diner in a small country town. The server was great very sweet and attentive. Grits was ok kale was nasty the biscuits was good. The jams was good I didn't like the bacon jam too sweet and salty. The salmon Benedict was amazing!!! They got great prices and food.”

The cuisine is regionally specific so don't expect your standard menu. But trust them—they know exactly what they're doing.”

“This is the real deal seafood. It's fresh, it's tasty, and it's well prepared. There's a seafood market which was there before the restaurant. We were told that the market's been active for 13 years so that's a really good sign . Restaurants been going for a couple of years and we're glad it's close to us. Been looking forward to going to this place since we found out about it. It is set back from the main road going through Sylva past the intersection and right past Zaxby's. We enjoyed everything that we had. Can't recommend it enough. The waitress was very nice, Service was quick, the food was freshly prepared, it was my birthday and they gave us a nice little treat. Met the owner and thanked him for a great meal, he was really nice. We also brought home food for other people in the household and they loved it as well. Will be coming back pour some Cajun food next week. Can't recommend this place enough.”

“I had an amazing brunch at Breadheads in Sylva!! My companion and I shared some chicken and waffles and the brunch quesadilla and both were delicious I was salivating as I saw them approach the table. The chicken was so succulent, crispy, and flavorful it made me wanna slap my mama and then immediately apologize. It sat upon a pillow soft waffle, drizzled with decadent hot honey. The quesadilla was packed in tight and pressed to perfection. The eggs, cheese, bacon, peppers, tomatoes, and mushroom all created the perfect flavor profile. Adding the cilantro ranch and salsa was just the beginning of the happy ending in my stomach. To conclude, I would eat brunch here in a heartbeat. Not to mention the bartender was so attractive and hypnotic because of her attentiveness to my needs as a diner. Needless to say it was lit.”

“HARD TO FIND lol huge sign on the side of building but entrance is a small door past where you’d expect. We walked into a pizza place and tried to order beer. OOPS. Service is better here than the other innovation location but it may of just been the time of day we came.They have a big selection, cool vibes with darts and do half pours!!”

“The host I think her name was Tana and didn’t catch the other host name was amazing very sweet and kind! The waitress Grace was awesome, she was very attentive to all questions we had and always kept a smile! “OMG! What an amazing experience. I am sorry I didn’t get the sweet servers name. He made it exceptional. The charcuterie board and fire roasted olives were amazing and accompanied our Spanish wine in a spectacular way! Really nice and relaxed atmosphere! “We came to Balsam today and interacted with tristian, Morgan, isaiah and walked away feeling extremely taken care of. There was another customer who intoxicated and trying to interact with us, but the staff stepped in and made us feel unbelievably comfortable and looked after. Before this interaction even took place, the staff was already personable and kind. As a woman, these kinds of interactions with staff are so important and I am so happy to have met them today. Thank you staff from the bottom of my heart!”

“Some of the best ice cream ever! The homemade warm waffle cones and bowls are definitely the best! Don't settle for plain cone or bowl!! Marian and Kat, two of the workers, are phenomenal and so friendly - helping people and staying calm no matter how many people are in there -whether an entire West Carolina Univ softball team or families with tons of little kids, even if one is by themself (which really shouldn't happen - because Jack the Dipper always packed when I go as they are so good). “We ordered my dad a birthday cake that we ate as dessert for our rehearsal dinner. The cake not only looks amazing, but tasted just as good as looks! We cannot recommend Cotton Leigh Bakery enough and look forward to visiting when we're back in town.”

“Totally excellent food. I got the double cheeseburger with bacon and jalapenos with barbecue sauce, can't remember the name of it on the menu, and a double order of fries. Only $24, would have spent that at McDonald's or Burger King or Hardee's and not got as good a burger or fries.”

“I second all the 5 star reviews. We were greeted by the owner, one of the nicest people we've ever met. She gave us good recommendations and even made us special salsa picante. She came by to check on us multiple times.Thank you.We were served with warm fresh chips and self serve salsa. The food was delicious, huge portions (the tilapia plate can probably serve 2 people) and reasonable price. None of us could finish our food. We also had some cold beer and horchata. “Love this place! Whenever I’m craving a hotdog this place is my go to! Their fry’s are steak fry’s so they are excellent! They serve breakfast as well. I call in my order and pick it up at the window and the staff is always friendly!”

“It's a nice place with a nice atmosphere. The food is good. I got the original Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It was good but quite plain tasting. To be honest I was a quite disappointed that it did not have cheese whiz. I think it has provolone, which is a good cheese but it has no flavor when paired with the intense flavors of the meat, onion, and peppers. If they want to call it the original Philly Cheese Steak they really should be using cheese whiz.”

“I got the chicken nachos which was really good they was different from the nachos I’m used to from other Mexican restaurants (they didn’t put cheese dip over the nachos it was more like shredded Mexican cheese) however it was really good! We also got the queso dip as an appetizer which was one of the best cheese dips I’ve had.”

“Probably my favorite place to eat in Sylva besides Josh's Backstreet Takeout. Love their Caesar wraps and grilled chicken sandwich, and weekly wing flavor specials that are always A++ (got the pineapple wings on a whim this week and was surprised at how good they were). Good quality wing in and of itself which is a must for a place that serves wings. Only a few times did I get a super small portion or had part of my order missing or wrong. They are nice, just double check your order before you leave if ordering takeout!”

“I visit this location a few times I week and I LOVE it. Stopping at 6am to get my early morning pick me up on my way to work is always a pleasant experience. The staff is the best, always friendly and they make sure my items are exactly as I ordered them. “This Jersey Mike’s Subs is located in front of the Walmart. We ordered the #17 Philly Cheesesteak Sub. They offer it in regular size, (6 inch) and giant size, (foot long.). We chose the giant one and brought it home. It was more than enough for two people to share. It had beef, cheese, onions and peppers. The bread was soft and fresh. It cost $18.00 with tax.”

“There are 2 handicap parking spaces and around 20 free parking spaces. The restaurant is in good shape and well taken care of. The employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food products sold in this restaurant. I love their many different flavored drinks. The hamburgers are good as well. Overall, I had a great time eating here in this restaurant. There are tables for you to eat your food outside at this location.”

“Absolutely Highly Recommended! Food was perfect and the service was even better. Our waitress Grace was very attentive and made sure we enjoyed every part of our first visit. She went above and beyond. I’d come back just for the service. Id also come back for wings and Mac n cheese. It was absolutely delicious. Appetizer southwest egg rolls arrived quickly and were cooked to perfection. Nice cut Ribeye was good also. Overall It was a great experience. We will return soon.”
