No joke the brisket taco is the best taco I have ever tasted in my life. We were in Sylva for the Smoky Mountain Relay. We had Big Nick’s for lunch during the race. It was life changing. The thought of round two was the inspiration that allowed me to finish the 3rd and final leg of my race. Highly recommend a visit if you are within 500 miles of Sylva.
Brisket is typically really good, great smoke flavor, tender, and juicy. Out of the several times we've been here, we we're only disappointed by the brisket once (it was try and tough). Ribs are decent (though we prefer Haywood for those). Hush puppies are super yummy! And then you can't not jump across the road and grab some Jack the Dipper for dessert ?
