Stopped in to grab a quick lunch…a young man was taking orders so we stepped up to place our order. My daughter ordered a lunch special that was posted on a board as we walked in & I ordered an item from the lunch menu. The guy taking our order wasn’t familiar with the specials on the doorway board so we tried to clarify which lunch board special my daughter wanted and a lady stepped in from the back to assist him so we thought our order was correct & asked if they would call our name when the order was ready & he said yes…we told him we wanted to wait & eat outside at the picnic tables. We waited for an extended period of time so I went back in to check on our order. There was another guy waiting for an order & another man walked from the back & asked him if he was being helped then went to the back…he didn’t acknowledge me while I was waiting. The young man who took our order finally presented our order all boxed up “to go” (we never said we wanted it “to go”)so I asked for silverware & took the food outside to eat. My daughters order was totally wrong so she walked it back inside and asked them to fix it…again they seemed confused about what they were offering on their lunch board by the door but eventually presented her with another sandwich that was supposed to be the one she ordered. The “new” sandwich appeared to be the chicken that was on the previous sandwich because the cheese wasn’t melted & it had Caesar dressing still on it along with ranch so it was pretty obvious they had just reused the chicken from the first sandwich & added ranch dressing & cheese. Needless to say she didn’t eat the sandwich & we ended up sharing my meal (thankfully it was what I ordered)! Bottom line is the owners need to ensure that their staff knows the menu & specials & it would be nice if they asked if you wanted to “eat in” or take it “to go”.

Food great.waitress rude. Make sure you eat fast because you definitely feel like you are being rushed by the big and tall rude waitress.and gets made when you ask about a charge on the bill.

this restaurant lost a customer today. i used to come for lunch often and dinner at least once a month with drinks. ive always thought its over priced food but today nothing was redeeming it.the cook Tasha was rude the whole expierence and loudly reprimanding our WONDERFUL server Brooke for many things- with a restaurant full of customers! i am an adult and ordered a kids pasta because of a medical condition and Brooke was yelled at for giving a kids portion to an adult. Tasha's exact words were "unless its a senior citizen Adults dont get off like that." Very rude. and then she made eye contact with me and my companion and turned her back.our food didnt contain many fresh ingredients and the bread was burned. food is mid line at best. i wouldnt reccommend the service i recieved today either, besides Brooke.after 4 years here in sylva, i wont be returning.Dietary restrictions: Did not have options for smaller meals that were affordable. Does not account for dietary ristrictions and were rude about it.

My salad was rotten as you can see totally pink and my manicotti for my birthday was flipped upside down coming out the dish and cold. Thank you guys for not so good birthday.

I ordered an antiposto salad , and my friend ordered a chef salad. They looked exactly the same! Actually, she had more in hers. I had a bowl of lettuce, with 4 very small rolls of ham with cheese in it. I actually showed a picture to the waitress of what an antiposto looks like. 1300 $ bag of lettuce.

Ordered a lasagna dish through take out. Showed up to pick it up and was informed sorry were out of lasagna. Why not tell me when I called ? Or call me back? I ordered fettuccini Alfredo add chicken.No garlic knots when I got home. The food was not good. Like it was rushed. I’ve had this same meal for years from here. You guys have got to do better. This is why customers stop coming to a restaurant. Not what I had in mind for $22. You need a thinker at the front. A thinker would have taken care of the customer that has already been done wrong not short him again.
Update - I called and complained and the manager made it right - a new pizza that was cooked properly. Just be aware.Normally I like this place - especially their garlic bread - but my last order left something to be desired. I ordered a to-go pizza since I hadn't had one in awhile. I specified on the phone that I wanted a medium size. When I went to pick it up, I thought the bill was a little more than it should be, but I know everything is up in price. When I got the pizza home, I could see why it was more - they gave me a large rather than a medium. And it's a good thing I don't mind a burnt crust as much as some people - I should have taken the pizza back but it was a lot of trouble. Waste of $20.
