We had a salad, sandwiches, Scones with Devonshire cream and assorted desserts. Amy, the owner herself served our group, and her attention to detail was spot on. I definitely plan on going back!!!“

Uncorked Raleigh Wine & Coffee Cafe Wine Bars • $$
10511 Shadowlawn Dr #111, Raleigh - 6.65 miles

“My girlfriends and I decided to have our last wine down Wednesday's at Uncorked. It's located in the shopping center where Nantucket Grill is, along with 13 Tacos & Tapas. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot. There were several other patrons when I arrived. We were celebrating a birthday and I forgot to bring the gift...how perfectly that they have gift bags for wine. I let the owner know and she brought everything to me, I just had to let her know that I wanted a bottle of red. While we waited for everyone else to arrive, we ordered food. We ordered the crab & shrimp dip, two of the flatbreads, the El Jefe & the Pear Brie & Bacon. The dip comes with warm pitas, it was tasty. The flatbeds were really good, especially the El Jefe, we ordered a second one. The combination is something I'd never think to put together, but went together perfectly. Since we were celebrating a birthday we also had the creme brûlée...delicious. The wine!!! So when I arrived, my friend was just getting the red wine flight, she loved each of them. I tried the Cabernet Sauvignon, so perfect and smooth. We had the best time & are looking forward to going back at least monthly. It's super cute & there's plenty of seating. The staff is amazing, so friendly and so welcoming. They know their wines, are can help you find whatever you're looking for.“

Sink into a couch, lounge in an armchair, sit as a group at a table, meander at the bar ... and then there's an outdoor patio!!! There are books & games on the shelves but in most cases, live entertainment of various kinds throughout the week. Small eats menu (I haven't had them yet but the meatballs, when sitting in front of someone three feet away had the best smell!) & lots of drink options.“

“VitaI arrived here around 5:55pm on a Saturday evening to meet some friends. I was in a group of 4. This was my first time visiting this place and was suggested by one of the friends I visited with. The concept is pairing art and wine. They have a bar downstairs and upstairs. During this visit, the upstairs bar was closed. We ordered at the downstairs bar. They let you taste the wines/ciders, which turned out to be a blessing. They had a blueberry cheesecake cider that sounded delicious… but it is was not ? I ended up getting the blood orange cider and it was great! My friend got the hummus and crackers, which we enjoyed. No complaints.I noticed it being busy. My friend stated that have been here before and it’s not normally as busy as it was. Regarding the wine and art pairing, I found it difficult to view/enjoy the art because the art was positioned behind tables. It would very extremely awkward for me to go up to a table and stand there to observe the art behind them. I think the concept would be better if the artwork didn’t have sitting tables next to them. I’ll note that not all of the artwork was blocked. We sat upstairs which was hosted string lights from the ceiling, providing a low light ambience. Additionally, we sat at a corner by the window, which gave a nice view of the courtyard. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would return again!“

“Vinos Finos has a very decent wine selection and the service was great! We started at the bar and had wine flights (super fun way to sample multiple wines). The crostini of the day was burrata with pesto and tomato’s with arugula and balsamic glaze. Yummy! Perfection with a bartender selected red wine flight! We then moved outside and had a lovely bottle of Merlot with sandwiches from the Italian deli next door. I highly recommend Vinos Finos for a complete dining experience at Lafayette Village.“

“If you're in Youngsville and want great pizza, you need to stop by HomeSlice Tavern. Heck, if you're anywhere in a 75 mile radius of Youngsville, get in here!My wife and I have been meaning to stop in for a while and finally made it today. We were not disappointed and will be back again, regularly. As far as the menu, your choice is pizza. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza. Keeping it simple, there's only one size - 18 inch. There are plenty of choices for toppings. The pizza is some of the best I've had! The crust is hand tossed, cooked to perfection. Plenty of gooey cheese. Lots of pepperoni! I forgot how much I loved the little pepperoni until I had it on this pizza. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza.Drink selection is plentiful. They have a few beers on tap and more in bottles and cans. Their liquor selection is huge - I imagine they can make just about anything you want. Today's popular drink was Bloody Marys. The restaurant itself is very inviting. The kind of place you want to hang out with family and friends. Inside is a large bar and plenty of high-top and regular tables. The area is nice and open. There's a small area with arcade-type games. They have a huge outside area with a lot of seating. There's even a balcony area to look out over the outdoor area.Jay, one of the GMs, made us feel very welcome. He chatted with us and gave everyone equal attention. This is definitely a friendly place. We can't wait to go back, hang out, and have a great time.“
