“Love this place. Love the fact that they have tables outside. Food is always fresh and superb. Great atmosphere for special celebrations. Servers seems to be well trained, attentat enough but at the same time not overly intrusive. The only disappointment is their desserts. We tried almost all of them, would not recommend any.“
“It was a great experience, the bartender was very nice and kind I wish another restaurant would be like him, cuz the experience would be different. I'll be back that is for sure. Because I met the manager and he was so nice to everybody including me.“
“Slowly becoming a "not so hidden" gem in North Raleigh. Exquisite wine and beer selection. The welcoming atmosphere is the complete package: knowledgeable and attentive bartenders, oodles of TV's... just a generally sociable place. Love the new outdoor seating as well!“
“Amazing environment for a brewery! Very unique with great prices on drinks!! There's different games in every room that you can play while you drink, as well as a free use pool table. I've always wanted to go into the exclusive offices inside the bank, & now you can! Bartender was extremely nice & attentive as well, overall 10/10 experience for sure. Will definitely be back!“
“I am a bit bias but house of hops is amazing. My neighbor owns it and as a result we're always heading over when we need to stock up on beer. Doesn't matter if it's just a six pack for ourselves or more for a party Keith always has what we're in the mood for. I love this og location and there are a rotating selection f food trucks weekly as well. Highly recommend if you haven't already checked out house of hops!“
“One of North Raleigh's best kept secrets. A small wine shop with a sommelier/owner who can speak to a wine enthusiast and can also talk to the regular wine customer who needs a little guidance without feeling like a second class citizen. You can stop by to buy wine by the bottle to consume or take home, or stay and enjoy the cozy atmosphere while drinking wine by the glass. Good spot to become a local!“
“love the vibe here. super relaxing place to chill drink and just be. ahhhh the hummus and cheese straws were good. they have games to play and wonderful comfortable gathering places. what a gorgeous day i had to just rest my bones for a bit while getting some fresh air and sip some wine.“
“Taylor Casper has been trying to keep my old heating andac unit running for the last couple of years and has done a great job. However. This year the unit was on its last legs. I had no choice but to replace the heating/account unit. Taylor came back out and gave me a great price for the replacement unit. Thank you Taylor. Hopefully this will last another 15 years .“
“This place is IT! The drinks were some of the most well-balanced cocktails we've ever had. But the absolutely best was the service from Serena. She is the best bartender in the triangle and makes the visit to Dram worth it! Ensure to try one of her mystery “
“Great atmosphere, service, and food. All staff goes the extra mile starting from the hostess to the valet. It is pricey but so worth it. The food is fantastic with impeccable service. Free complementary valet. Be sure to tip they rely on it.Parking: Free complementary valet. Be sure to tip they rely on it.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors and walkways“
“Come for the great service! Stay for the entertainment! The whole place is such an amazing vibe. Sink into a couch, lounge in an armchair, sit as a group at a table, meander at the bar ... and then there's an outdoor patio!!! There are books & games on the shelves but in most cases, live entertainment of various kinds throughout the week. Small eats menu (I haven't had them yet but the meatballs, when sitting in front of someone three feet away had the best smell!) & lots of drink options.“
“The staff is always super friendly, the food is excellent, the beer specials are some of the cheapest in the area, the restaurant itself looks cool and the outside seating area is really nice. I really, really like this place.Vegetarian options: Solid vegetarian selection but most sandwiches can be ordered with vegetarian protein instead of meat.“
“This is the best retail space to buy wine in the triangle - from the thoughtful and extensive collection of wine, which showcases bottles from small winemakers, to the biggest and most exclusive names in the industry, to the passionate and hospitable owners, Brad, and Raynor, you are sure to be in good hands when you stop into five points Wine shop.“
“Awesome place! Kind locals, relaxed spot and they have some great beers and wines, a lot of the beers are locally brewed in NC! I found this after eating in this area, definitely coming back. Very friendly bar tender too just all in all great place.“

So are you!“
“The proprietor was warm and inclusive and patient. He recommended great, accessible wine, and opined on local history, events, and where to go for delicious dining in the area. Stop by this store and enjoy a well-recommended glass or bottle (cork and go, because you have thing to explore). By the way: ask the owner about their curated dinners with special local chefs and paired wines. Shop local and enjoy this stellar Raleigh gem.“
“VitaI arrived here around 5:55pm on a Saturday evening to meet some friends. I was in a group of 4. This was my first time visiting this place and was suggested by one of the friends I visited with. The concept is pairing art and wine. They have a bar downstairs and upstairs. During this visit, the upstairs bar was closed. We ordered at the downstairs bar. They let you taste the wines/ciders, which turned out to be a blessing. They had a blueberry cheesecake cider that sounded delicious… but it is was not ? I ended up getting the blood orange cider and it was great! My friend got the hummus and crackers, which we enjoyed. No complaints.I noticed it being busy. My friend stated that have been here before and it’s not normally as busy as it was. Regarding the wine and art pairing, I found it difficult to view/enjoy the art because the art was positioned behind tables. It would very extremely awkward for me to go up to a table and stand there to observe the art behind them. I think the concept would be better if the artwork didn’t have sitting tables next to them. I’ll note that not all of the artwork was blocked. We sat upstairs which was hosted string lights from the ceiling, providing a low light ambience. Additionally, we sat at a corner by the window, which gave a nice view of the courtyard. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would return again!“
“The Hippo is such a cute spot! We stopped in to grab a few glasses of wine and had a fun time. It is small and when we visited they were remodeling the outdoor space since they recently opened in the space previously occupied by SWW. If you are looking for wine to take home they have a small selection. This spot is worth checking out if you are in the area.“
“We went there to find a place to relax on thanksgiving and was greeted by the wonderful owner and patrons. With amazing food, drinks and atmosphere, this is the kind of small business bar that will flourish in raleigh. Truly a gift to the area.“
“Loved bingo here. Nice vibes, good music, and good beer. They don’t currently have liquor available!Parking: Parking is a hassle as it’s in the same area as an apartment complex and you can only use the free parking on the first level. I believe there is also street parking available.“
“Best bottle shop in town! Great atmosphere! There’s something for everyone at The Mixx whether its wine, beer, cocktails or mocktails. Looking forward to warmer weather with the open garage doors and patio area. Be sure to visit during live music nights!“
“Have been there twice, I got the hanger steak the first time and the fire ramen the next time both dishes were prepared to perfection! My compliments to the cooks! Zoe and Sam were an amazing tag team for service with everyone in the place. Let me tell you that cheesecake is to die for! This is one of my new fave spots In the Raleigh area!“
“Vinos Finos has a very decent wine selection and the service was great! We started at the bar and had wine flights (super fun way to sample multiple wines). The crostini of the day was burrata with pesto and tomato’s with arugula and balsamic glaze. Yummy! Perfection with a bartender selected red wine flight! We then moved outside and had a lovely bottle of Merlot with sandwiches from the Italian deli next door. I highly recommend Vinos Finos for a complete dining experience at Lafayette Village.“
“The Wine Feed has been a favorite of mine for years! They not only have the best wines, they offer fantastic service and knowledge. Highly recommend checking out their stores, joining the wine clubs and participating in the events/classes they offer!“
“Really loving my Philly cheesesteak from the Gatsby food truck while sipping my glass of red wine. Understated and IMO under appreciated little spot. Fun for a group game night, quiet conversation on the couch, or game of pool. Not over the top and the vibe is very relaxed and chill.“
“Holy phenomenal pho! Amy and her team have done a wonderful job curating every part of this restaurant and bar, right down to the music. Arrived a bit before they opened and was still welcomed at the bar to wait til they were ready for their Monday. Ordered the normal sliced rare beef I always enjoy when I get to have pho. Learned about Amy and her journey to this location on their menu while I waited. As the menu perfectly stated ‘it takes hours to make and seconds to enjoy.’ I could have inhaled it within seconds. I’m normally ok with leaving a cup or two of broth behind when I’m done but I had to take it home with me for my drive back. I wish I didn’t have a 3 hour drive home so I could have stayed for a drink.“
“We went there on a Sunday afternoon. The place was empty, maybe because it was too early. We ordered some drinks $4 mimosas on Sundays. You can play darts for free, and they also have a pool table, board games, and cards. We enjoyed our time hanging out, playing some games, and having drinks. There are a lot of paintings on the wall for sale. We'll be back again.“
“I love both Relish and the kitchen table! Their food never disappoints! Been coming to Relish for years and never had a bad experience. I’ve also never had anything on their menu that didn’t taste great! Their customer service is always amazing as well. Today I placed a to go order and they forgot to put in crackers (no big deal, easy simple mistake especially on a busy Sunday afternoon). I didn’t check my bag until I got home and noticed and had to go back because their crackers are so great! So I went back to get the crackers and their manager Robin was super sweet and apologetic, she even threw some extra bags of crackers and pimento cheese in with it for the trouble! Thanks again for always making amazing food and taking care of your customers!“
“On Thanksgiving, when things are crazy and you expect may food or service not as good? NOT at Flemings. We had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving meal. The steaks were cooked to PERFECTION! Our waitress, Bree, not only remembered all our details from LAST YEAR! but made sure that anything new we wanted was there fast, and all the details were perfect. I wanted the Black Walnut Old Fashioned, but wanted it smoked...I got it...and it was worth it. I asked for a special dessert, she made sure it was exactly what I hoped for. The manager greeted us and was so nice. The hostess checked on us multiple times. We have had the same experience with them during Covid, when they went above and beyond to add special touches to take out. When we have gone for our anniversary celebrations, they decorated the table but even moreso they are just such warm welcoming people. It is like being with family. And when you don't have family in the area, it is that much nicer. I can't say enough nice things about everything from the food, to the people to the place. If you want a warm welcoming experience wrapped around great food - Flemings in Raleigh. 5+ stars“
“This place was amazing. The ambiance was fabulous and I just loved the attention to detail from the staff. I ordered pasta and it was delicious. The food was fresh and served piping hot. I enjoyed watching the couple next to me savor every dish. Purchased a bottle of Moscato and it did not disappoint. I have placed this place in my downtown Raleigh rotation. Next time I think I will make an earlier reservation to give myself more time to relax and enjoy.Great place for a first date or fate night. Next time I'll take photos!“
“This place is outstanding. Travel always eat Italian all over the USA. With out hesitation this is great. Red “gravy” is the best. Nothing negative to say in this delicious restaurant! Raleigh do not miss out! You will need a reservation. Or sit at the Bar!“
“I highly recommend Margaux's Restaurant to anyone wanting a great meal at moderate cost. The interior design and scenery inside Margaux's is unique and eclectic with lots of art that keeps you interested, commenting, and looking around throughout the meal. The service was excellent and our waitress knew all of the details about the menu, but she wasn't annoying about it. The waitress also had a great ratio of checking on us versus letting us eat/enjoy ourselves. The food was incredible, we ordered the Brussels sprouts, spinach salad, and Thai coconut soup, which were all really tasty and had perfect portion sizes. For the main course, we ordered the Yellowfin Tuna and Asado Chicken; both were large portions, delivered as ordered, and tasted great. I'd love to have the tuna again, it was cooked to perfection. I would definitely return to Margaux's as the menu changes daily/weekly. The total cost for drinks/food/tip was very reasonable and valued appropriately when compared to the food quality the restaurant delivered.“
“Unbelievable food and service! We had dinner at Coquette for a celebration on April 2nd. Ashton (our server and bartender) was so kind, knowledgeable and professional. He helped make an already great day, even better! Thank you Ashton! We had two appetizers, split a salad and then a fabulous entree each. We couldn’t have asked for better!“
“If you’re giving this place anything under 4 stars are from those who frequent Olive Garden and think fettuccine should be served in a bread bowl. The best hanger steak and the best hummus which for me rivals the hummus at Parizade. (I love both) The art and the pairing of cherries and the dukkah flavors oh goodness. We had a hiccup with the wrong dish being brought out and there were menu items not available due to Valentine’s Day weekend. However all the food was exquisite and not overfilling. I wish I had photos but we ate everything too fast.“
“Service was amazing. Attentive and friendly. Excellent recommendations. Bread was wonderful with a mix of corn outside and soft inside. Age ribeye with thyme garlic butter was fabulous The spiced potatoes again were out of this world. I was slightly disappointed in have a William Hill Cab wiand the shrimp tempura (cooler than it should be). Loud but friendly atmosphere. Weill come again“
“I enjoyed myself at this restaurant. The staff was so wonderful and always polite. The food was cooked at the right temperature, well seasoned, hot and fresh. Must try the Blackened Pork Ribeye. The drinks are amazing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere with the music playlist.“
“Definitely one of the best restaurants in Raleigh. I was blown away by this place the first time I ate here and have never been disappointed with all my dining experiences since. The menu offerings are pure genius. Hands down the best shrimp and grits, escargot, and wings in town. Their food is elevated without any pretentious. Most importantly-it's delicious food! Great, friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel welcomed.“
