“This was a first time experience for myself with my father. I had been told many times that this restaurant was good but expensive. The first assertion was absolutely correct, but the second I believe is incorrect; the prices are fair for the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the meal. I ordered a cheeseburger; it was immense, the patty was thick, and it had fresh jalapeños, as I asked for them. My father ordered their fried shrimp, and let me tell you that I am often disappointed by shrimp in many restaurants, to the extent that I have given-up on trying to find some that are fresh and larger than a quarter. My dad’s shrimp were slightly larger than a half-dollar and they were fresh, deveined, and lightly battered; I was impressed. The hostess was polite and the waiter was prompt, instinctive, and happily made our order to-go when I realized my father had an appointment and we couldn’t dine-in. I hope you have a similar experience.”

“My beef nachos were awesome. My husband's wing were cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. Had Yuengling and Red Oak. Sat in the bar area with three TVs. Nice atmosphere, quiet enough to carry on a conversation yet had music playing. Bathrooms were clean and well.stocked. Will go back if we're in the area.”

“I had the rice bowl, and chose shrimp as my meat option. The flavor as well as presentation throughout the entire dish was outstanding. It was a little bit more expensive than I expected, however it was well worth it. You can tell that they care about their food! I will absolutely be eating from there again.”

“I was looking for a different place to eat and found this out of the way diner. I found it after googling "breakfast in Wallace, NC". After swiping through all the fast food places, this popped up. The food was great! I got the Southern Omelet with a side of grits and a biscuit. It was definitely homemade cooking. I highly recommend you visit this diner. You better bring cash though, that's all they take. (ATM inside)”

“Hometown Cafe features along with some store items, food is always good staff friendly prices reasonable, lunch time may have a long wait time, wish they had longer hours ?Dietary restrictions: I'm diabetic and can find menu options that are available to fit my needs.Kid-friendliness: See people with children and there are menu options for children”

“The staff is amazing the food is always cooked and seasoned perfect. I've never gotten a bad meal here. My go to place for a more authentic Mex food experience. “The sandwiches are fantastic! They are so filled with meat, cheese, and extras that I can only eat 1/4 of the six inch sub at a tune. I get 2 meals out of it! Everyone is very nice and helpful.”

“It was our 1st time here. We stopped for lunch. Loved the food! The staff was friendly and on top of keeping the buffet stocked with hot & fresh food.We definitely will be repeat customers!Wheelchair accessibility: My Mom uses a walker to get around. The parking was right close to ramp and easy access to the entrance.”

“My Pastor recommended the hamburger steak yesterday at church and I have to say, it didn't disappoint!! 2 big patties covered in mushroom gravy with onions! Smothered fries on the side! I'm DEFINITELY going back!! From what I saw while my Wife and I were there, the portions are huge and the waitresses are steadily checking on customers! It was an all around great experience! The only thing I would add to what they have going on in there is they need wheelchairs to tote customers to their cars! I'm so full I could hardly walk!! Thank you Pizza Corner for the experience!! I'll be back!!”

“Stopped in for breakfast. First time visiting. You walk through entry area to main dining. It’s a buffet only. Food is very good! Service was very friendly. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Farmhouse atmosphere.”

“If you want a birthday cake that tastes as good as it looks try this place out. They also make a ham and cheese oven baked sandwich that is awesome . “Super cute little coffee shop with TONS of flavor options!I didn’t try their coffee black, but the specialty latte I got was delicious! (Not too sweet or over powered by flavor).Wasn’t able to sit and enjoy the cute atmosphere but would definitely recommend. Their staff were so kind!”
