“My wife and I and another couple visited Washington NC recently and had breakfast a Pam’s Diner. We were greeted in a very friendly manner, our server was very personable and professional. Everybody made sure to speak and make us feel welcome. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The grits were perfect. The coffee was excellent. The folk at Pam’s Dinner really know something about southern hospitality. I highly recommend this little resturant in Little Washington.”

“Great Eggs Benedict! We order it weekly and is constantly wonderful. Eggs are perfectly cooked. I am impressed with the wait staff, as they are friendly, patient and kind with the elderly and couples with babies. Coffee is better than the usual diner coffee. You know a place is good when you see the same people there week after week.”

“Parking: It can get a little crowded first thing in the morning, but it doesn’t last too long into the day and the lot is very open so you can just get in where you fit in so to speak.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love the grill selections just as much as any adult does. Aren’t many veggies in the selection.”

“We enjoyed visiting the Mulberry so much. We started downstairs where we met Sydney who was very kind and helped us out not only with our visit but also taking the time to help us find somewhere to stay for the night. Then we ventured upstairs to visit the rooftop where we met Colin and Lexi who served us while we sat at the bar for a couple drinks and some appetizers. Colin was a joy to talk to and hear about all of the interesting things he’s done and is doing. We followed that up with dinner downstairs where we enjoyed the ribs and the French onion soup.”

They have a Chess board all set up and ready for play, dart boards, two pool tables and a new wave jukebox. They have a covered outside area with lots of picnic tables. I'm new in town and I'm so freaking happy I found my go to spot! Kudos Rebel Tavern!!!”

Parking: I always park in the public lot across the street. Way easier than trying to parallel park on the street.”

“The espresso is wonderful! I stopped by here a year ago and started my day with one and couldn’t stop thinking about it. I live in Rocky Mount. Last weekend I was back in Washington and stopped in again. The same fellow who I assume is the owner (Gary?) made me another espresso and it was just as delicious as the one I had last year. He is a humble and generous perfectionist who crafts a fine espresso and goes out of his way to make sure that his customers are happy.”

I worked for pizza hut at the time and the second time I bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I told the clerks at the store the pizza to me is better than Pizza Hut. then I seen the sign in the window and found out Hunt Brothers has breakfast pizza and it's been a little over four years now and Hunt Brothers pizza is all I buy. what I love is taste, quality, price and fact the toppings don't cost extra. keep up the good work and keep the customers happy. “A local gem. I've been a happy customer of Backwater Jack's for years, sometimes visiting 2-3 times a week. The fun atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely, good hearted owner make for a great visit everytime. The menu is simple, but delicious and affordable, especially the kids meals. It is my favorite place to tell out of town visitors to go, especially during evenings when they almost always have live music.”

Parking: It's in a mall and since it's holiday season traffic was kind of cray. But parking is available.”

“Marabella’s has always been a favorite restaurant for us. We recently dined there and tried their pizza for the first time. We ordered the New York style Marabella’s pizza. Hands down, the best pizza I’ve ever had! Our wait person was very courteous and efficient. As usual, our overall experience was excellent.”

My husband and I split an order of peel & eat shrimp as an appetizer. Omg. So good. The old bay and butter complimented them perfectly.

I had the catfish po boy with a side of pasta salad, and also added a side of cinnamon apples, with sweet tea to drink.
My husband got the Cajun catfish with pasta and had fries on the side, because we were dying to try their come back sauce.

Literally everything was perfect. I have never had catfish that was breaded and fried so lightly and beautifully, with just the right amount of crisp. The pasta salad was exactly what I was expecting, and the apples rounded out my meal with the perfect amount of sweetness.

It was divine. ☺️ I can't wait to go back.”
