Zocalo's has so many great options for vegetarians. I had a burrito, which was huge. I took half of it home. They serve complimentary tortilla chips and give free refills for the chips and their delicious salsa. Our waitress was excellent and the music was energetic and fun for my grandchildren to dance to.

Just had a late lunch today at Zocalo. We love Mexican food and Zocalo is the best in Wilmington. I would say this is upscale Mexican food that is delicious with a very creative presentation. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere and decor was very tasteful. The black beans and the tortillas are made in house. Wonderful!

The first time here, the food was excellent. The price was good for lunch. I didn't look at dinner prices. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It's definitely worth coming back.

Everything was nice except for our waitress Monica. She didn’t come to our table at all except for to get our drinks and our food order. Once she brung our food we needed more drinks and we had to flag her down to get them for us. She then brung the wrong drinks so we had to ask someone else to fix them because she never came back. She was sitting in a booth with the other workers on her phone for atleast 20 minutes before we finally got her attention to bring us the check.

Portion size during busier hours are at least 25% smaller that slower hours. Same price regardless. Service is always great, but the kitchen staff needs to be consistent in portions. Don't charge dinner prices for lunch-sized portions.

I had an excellent dinner experience with some friends, and I cannot wait to go back! We tried the new birria items and had a few drinks and everything was amazing. We were taken care of at the bar by Tori who constantly made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was an experience I would recommend to anyone I know. Excellent service and ambient!

My favorite restaurant!! This is definitely one of my top places in Wilmington and by far the best Mexican food in town. The food, drinks and atmosphere is always 10/10. Service is fast, attentive and nice ? I tried the new queso birria tacos, they were delicious!!Definitely recommend trying to this place out. Great for larger parties and birthday dinners.

The food was really good!! But our waiter was slack though. She hardly spoke to us and it seemed like we were wasting her time. She walked past our table so many times without checking on us or to refill our drinks/chips? Then finally came over and asked if I wanted my plate taken when I still had food left on it. It felt like we were being rushed out the door so she could get someone else in our seats. We were only there for maybe 30 minutes, if that. So uncomfortable. Made me sad because we don’t go out to eat often.
