Wards is definitely not home cooked food the only thing they make from scratch is their meats everything else is heat and serve food I actually seen the owners wife stocking up at Fred's lol but a blind man can see that the food isn't homemade I tried the turkey wings multiple times and they are always salty they taste like a bucket of salt the Mac and cheese is boiler bag and it taste horrible the potato salad is resers Amish style and it's decent I also tried the smothered pork chop which tasted alright by itself the gravy was the kind you get from kfc etc and they call their self doctoring it up but they just made it salty smh ifi ever go back I’ll try the steak and cheese maybe the pork chop with out the gravy… overall idk why they have so many customers but then again it's Wilson and there's not much to pick from I'd love to support my black business but it's not worth the high blood pressure

I wish I could give them a 0 we scheduled an event for May 21, 2016. We paid for the event (a spades tournament) on December 19, 2015. We checked back a week and two weeks before the event, and they stated everything was good. 2 days before the event Mrs. Ward stated she booked an 80 year olds birthday party over our event. Causing us to cancel leaving 60 people out of luck. We wouldn't have known she booked over the event unless we didn't go up there that Thursday... I will never do Business or Eat here again.

Ate there the other week Wards use to be better man y'all serve me a pinch of fries like u pick them up with the tip of ya finger then my steak had so much fat it was half a steak so I payed for fat cheese an toasted bread then my price change twice first it was low then it went high fries was not full in quantity steak had to much fat an price high Wards YALL was the best at them steaks but ima have to look at my plate for I pay again

Food mobile truck doesn’t follow a consistent schedule. I live in Rocky Mount and when you call it’s like they playing games be here this time still not showing up. I don’t know how they keep business since they lost there place

Excellent turkey BBQ! Some of the best!I recently moved to NC and wanted to find some turkey BBQ. After having trouble finding some in Wake Forest, I drove to their location in Wilson to get some. I was not disappointed! I advise calling ahead first, however. Based on my experience, the food truck doesn’t follow a consistent schedule.

It is what it is. A greasy soul food truck. And what they do is really good. The ribeye steak sandwich and the smothered pork chops were crazy good. Your first time here you have to get the sandwich! I didn't get the oxtail but will next time because everyone else in line did. They wore masks and all the people waiting for food did as well!
