Coffee Shops near Wingate

“One of my favorite places to go for morning coffee, meeting friends and a quick cheap lunch! The people there are always nice and patient as I still have to figure out what I want every time. If you're on a special diet, aka gluten free or sugar free, it might be difficult to find something to fit but for the most part they have something for everyone. I think adding non meat protein would go a long way. The $6 lunch special is awesome and my favorite thing to do. You get sandwich chips and drink for $6. The reward program is also great for how convenient it is to campus and how often I visit.“

“Super nice baristas. Although the egg sandwich comes out of plastic and is pre-made well in advance and then nuked, it hit the spot. Not being a coffee drinker I opted for the black iced tea. Again delicious. The beat part of the entire experience is sitting outside by the fountain looking over the beautiful campus of Wingate University. I just hope the view doesn't come with a parking ticket. We don't know where guest parking is. Update: Now open Saturdays 9am-1pm.“

“This is one of the better McDonald's in Union County. This is the only place that knows how to cook their chicken nuggets perfectly. There milkshake machine is very rarely down which amazing. The drive thru is fast and the service is great.“

There’s no meat in the shop, and I’ve only ever seen one item that contains nuts, but there could be more I haven’t noticed.Parking: At first glance it doesn’t seem like there’s a ton of parking, but there is plenty, and also plenty of exits depending on how you like to converge into traffic.Kid-friendliness: The people are incredibly kind to the kids, and there are plenty of pastries and other drinks besides coffee for any kids. I’ve seen plenty of parents in the shop, and there’s never been any issues“

“Went there on a whim for breakfast then afterwards decided to go back for lunch! Total vibe and they have a vast drinking selection from local beers to ciders and wines to match. Definitely going to recommend to friends/family and make this a normal hangout spot“

“Love The Packing House! Went here for the first time today and they have sooo many handmade items to buy! I got a caramel iced coffee and I loved the extra touch that the ice cubes were also made out of coffee so it didn’t get watered down. I also got a banana pudding blondie and it is just delicious! Ms. Rita was so nice with her hospitality as well! Will definitely come back here.“

“I’ve been here a couple of times and I love it, I do wish there were menus on the wall that you can read while waiting in line (they do have smaller ones for food and seasonal items) Other than that I love coming here!! The coffee is amazing!“
