This place has great service and atmosphere. The dining room spotless. However the food wasn’t very good. I ordered the brisket plate and the brisket seemed like maybe it was way overdone. It was just a pile of mush covered in sauce. I enjoyed the sides a lot more than the meat.
We've been here several times and mostly always enjoyed everything. We stopped in tonight for dinner, I have pros and cons... It's in a great location in downtown Winston Salem. The building is nice and big with an arcade upstairs and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I like that their grade is right when you walk into the establishment and they have a sanitation grade of 99.0. Now, for our meal. Food and service were very good. Had the 3 meat tray and had more than enough to take home.
