Cava has a very relaxed, somewhat hip vibe to it, and their food is always high quality and consistent. It's Subway-style (choose your own ingredients) but I hate making decisions under pressure, so you can just choose from the menu overhead, and you're pretty much guaranteed to get a flavorful dish that is chef chosen. I come here all the time with friends, especially because some of them have dietary restrictions, including being gluten-free. It's great for that. If you come often, you can get the app that has its own reward system. Free healthy and tasty food! Just be aware that it gets busy at dinner time, so you could be waiting a while. If you do have the app though, you can sort of beat the system by ordering on the app and picking up your food and then sitting down.

Cava is great tasting, and fast Mediterranean food in the area! The rich flavors and the freshness of the food is noticeable at every bite. In addition, the service is wonderful, our server Tera even remembered what we had on our last visit!She was kind, professional, and efficient in providing quality service to hungry customers! We also enjoy the setting, it is nice, quiet and cool inside, especially in this hot weather.

I ordered online and got the wrong order. I had someone else’s ticket attached to mine. I let them know and they said they’d make it. My initial order was placed at 3:00pm and supposed to be ready at 3:15pm. At 3:45, I asked for a refund. I never got my salad as there was no urgency whatsoever to fix it. 2 drink machines were empty. The girl giving the refund was super sweet! There was a lot of staff there but everyone was taking their time and even then the order was wrong. I spoke to a Doordasher and he said it happens all the time and he ends up canceling. Do not go here if you are in a hurry or have somewhere to be. The food portions were also small for the price and we hardly got any sauce. The food was ok but not worth the price or wait in my opinion. Great concept but needs a lot of improvements.

Cava is one of the best things to happen to Winston Salem since COVID. The food is fresh, beautifully seasoned, and the price is more than fair. I have come here regularly here for yeeears! Tonight, I decided to leave a review because of the beautiful customer service attitude, smiles, and energy that I received from John and Morgan. They brought a smile to my face just from the way that I was greeted and treated. Please acknowledge them because they are the only reason for this review.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was fresh, and delicious. Definitely recommend this location.

I used to love Cava! But then I came in for dinner at the Stratford Road location about 8pm and found the employees spraying down the food area with degreaser WITHOUT covering any of the food. Degreaser was entering the food! And when I pointed this out to them, they didn't care. Don't go there unless you want your food literally covered in chemical poison.
