“I was supposed to meet someone here, but plans fell through, so I decided to check this place out on my own. I had a spring roll, Dan Dan noodles, and a Wong Lo Kat herbal tea.The spring roll was good. The Dan Dan noodles were delicious and had a nice kick. I also really enjoyed the Wong Lo Kat tea. It had a very pleasant floral taste. This restaurant reminds me of the more authentic Chinese spots I tried in Flushing, NYC. I will definitely be back soon.“
“They serve you very well! The lady tried to speak to us in Spanish, it was a little surprising to be honest but it was a great detail, haha. The service is good, I have only eaten here once, I ordered the fried rice with chicken, a little greasy but good:)“
“Absolutely amazing dinner!! Erica, our server, was just on top of everything. She refilled my coke before it had time to water down (which normally it does before I get a new one). She engaged in conversation with my friend and I, but not too much. She never rushed us once and made us feel like we were the most important table there. We might have been her first table but she appeared to serve all of her tables the same. The food was delicious! Our appetizers came in plenty of time before our main entree. The food was hot and fresh. The hostess was pleasant as well. The restaurant seemed clean and nice which is a plus. We've been here before but this is the reason we continue to go back, everything is just wonderful!“
“I've officially found the best Chinese food in Winston Salem! First thing I noticed was their 98 sanitation grade and their old school Chinese restaurant feel. The ambiance instantly let you know this food is about to be amazing. I ordered the Tai Cheng Chicken and it did not disappoint! Fresh and full of flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked. Service was extremely fast. I live on the opposite side of town from this restaurant. Nonetheless, it will not stop me from making this drive so I can explore their menu.“
“This food is amazing! The dumplings ? are a must have, the Korean Fried chicken is amazing! I saw this place on a “ Winston Salem eats cameo” and it’s amazing! This is the closest you get to food channel food tours you see when they are in Korea, this food was so good! I’ll definitely will comeback, only down size is there isn’t a sit down area, but that doesn’t take away from the amazing flavors and food! ?“
“I love their white rice and sesame tofu! I've had rice from a couple of Chinese fusion restaurants here in WS, and this rice is by far the best I've had. I ate here for lunch, and I couldn't eat anything else for the rest of the day I was so full. The whole dish was about $12. Totally worth it, it was delicious! The man that took my order was super polite also. I'm excited to order from here again. ?“
“Lucky us that we have an amazing Chinese option so close to home! We have ordered from here many times since 2018 and the food has never disappointed. I always orders general tso chicken and my husband likes the pepper and onion beef with lo mein. The general tso's chicken is perfectly crispy. Honestly, writing this review makes my mouth water thinking about how delicious it is! All meals come with a fortune cookie which our daughters love. I have actually never picked up the order myself so I can't speak to the service or ambiance but the food is amazing!“
“This place is simply amazing. The food is not your typical American style Chinese food. They have a very large menu of Szechuan dishes that are fantastic. You won’t regret giving it a try, and you’ll certainly return. We drive from Akron regularly to eat here.“
“I've been coming here for a number of years and have never once had a single problem. I feel like that's incredibly rare in our food service industry. The food is always as good as I expect it to be. Every employee I've dealt with has been pleasant and kind. They are quick, and the prices are fair. I will continue coming here because I can always expect to walk away satisfied and without regrets.“
“Babayyy. ?Let me tell you. The food here is spectacular. I go nowhere else but here. The service could be a tad bit nicer. However, overall they have nice portions and it’s fresh every time I receive my order. I hope it stays that way because I’ll be a repeat “
“Yet another hole-In-the-wall Chinese American take-out spot that I have wanted to take a chance on, so indeed I did! And they open at 10:30AM which always works with me. I ordered a pint of Shrimp Chop Suey and a lunch combo of Double Cooked Pork with an egg roll and fried rice. This was quickly out and I was on my way, with much to feast on! Both the Shrimp Chow Mein and the Double-Cook Pork were solid dishes, with reasonable amounts of protein. The veggies, rice, and egg roll were good. The food quality here is definitely in line with that of other take-out spots such as Mr Lu's, East China, Lee's, and China 1. All good place to grab a Chinese American comfort meal. Shrimp Chow Mein Double-Cooked Pork“
“I love this place. It will always be my go to in Winston. The food is always fresh and hot. The service is always quick and hospitable. The price is always right from lunch to dinner. I have ordered the chicken wings lunch which comes with rice & 2 crab ragoons. I have also ordered the same for dinner which comes with the same but a pork egg roll instead of ragoons. I have also tried their rib tips dinner and for me it was really good and a lot is provided however, the chicken is my jam! The ragoons I preferred were sweet but they are still good. Everything here is honestly amazing. Go get you some!!!“
“The only reason I am giving them four stars is because of the way the older man was treated after me. My experience however was quick and easy. It was my first time there so it took me a minute to look at the menu. The picture is obviously from my personal plate but the food did not disappoint. My children even approved. Definitely a night in kind of meal. Will be back again!“
“If you’re looking for the classic taste of Chinese food, this is the place. The staff are all very friendly and the food was fantastic. The rice is perfect and none of the chicken or beef options are overly greasy or cooked. I’ll definitely be going back!“
“This small, primarily take-out Chinese American restaurant is located in a large sprawling shopping center off of University Pkwy on Summit Square Blvd. There is some small amount of inside seating - 8 or so small tables. I ordered the Hot and Spicy Beef and the Chicken Chow Mein, both with Fried Rice. Both dishes were tasty, with plenty of protein & fresh tasting, crunchy vegetables. The beef dish did have a nice spice level, nothing that was too much. I liked both dishes, and will probably reorder both. These are not exotic Chinese dishes, but just solid Chinese American fare, I like such from time to time. I consider the take-out I ate here to be superior to most I've sampled, including Mr Lu's on Robinhood Rd.“
“Ordered this through door dash last night because my husband wanted Chinese food. He ordered the bigger plate with orange chicken and the beef and broccoli, with the crab Rangoons. He didn't like the Rangoon's as much as he was hoping for but he loved everything else. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and the honey walnut shrimp, just because I'm not a big Chinese food person, but I surprisingly loved it. The teriyaki chicken tastes just like the teriyaki chicken I get every time I'm at the mall. Definitely will be ordering from them again!“
“This place is primarily a take out spot although there are 5 or so small tables for dining in. It is in a strip center that is anchored by Sheetz and Food Lion. The center is one of those twisting/ turning ones that stays busy. There is no table service, you order at the register, pay up, and await your order. The service was ok, but not at all pleasant, no thank you! I ordered an egg roll ($1.75), chicken wings (4 for $7.75) and Mongolian Beef ($10.25). The order took just about 20 minutes. All the items were good to very good. The chicken wings were full wings, well sized, nicely cooked, and full of flavor. At the current prices for this item at most places, this is a bargain, and a tasty one! The egg rolls, there were 2 of them, were small compared with those at other places, but there were 2! The roll was nicely cooked, and had a nice flavor. The Mongolian Beef was a nice version with plenty of tender, sliced beef. The sauce was a bit heavy, but was not totally overpowering. There were a collection of veggies as you see at many places, which is not what the original dish calls for, and seems to make the dish appear larger than it would other wise be. All in all, this was tasty and a good choice for Chinese American fare. Ambiance - 1 Food - 4 Service - 3 Value - 4“
“I ordered a door dash from here most everything was wrong and my dasher autumm wouldn’t give me my receipt or try and fix it for me so I had to take my order up to this store…. They were very pleasant in here and fixed my whole order for me! I will come back just won’t door dash from autumm ever again!“
“Amazing! The best Asian fusion I've ever had. There wasn't anything about this that I'd change. The ambiance was great, the food was the perfect texture and flavor. The crispy things were crispy, all the flavors came through. Incredibly unique flavor profiles! Don't pass this place up!“
