We have been traveling in winston salem. We ordered iced americano and cortado. Barista didn’t call our beverage. It seemed unprofessional. Finally, My husband got it at the table.A cortado looks like cappuchino between latte. And Roasted bean was too dark. Taste was bitter and burning.

The blues band these guys bring in are extremely lackluster and obnoxious and unimpressive. Makes me want to leave everytime and I do. Where’s the rotten tomatoes?

What a fun place! You can relax, work, or meet up with friends to enjoy some coffee or cocktails depending on the time of day. Very large indoor area with plenty of space, and a large outdoor area as well. No need to worry about finding room in here. Couches, chairs, little nooks out of the way, and even a large bookstore adjoining this unique spot. The best part, there is free public parking in the back. The sign for “private parking” is still up in the lot, but after asking inside, they confirmed that parking is free and the sign was never taken down. So if you go, ignore the sign and park all day for free in downtown Winston Salem. The coffee and tea were outstanding. The flight my wife had on this Valentine’s Day was superb. Each little taste had unique flavors with a lot of love put in. Thank you for the great service. We will definitely be back .

I have visited a few times and the beverages and food are always great. Staff appears apathetic bordering on rude about 50% of the time. The other half of the time they are wonderful.

Friendly coffee shop with a fresh serene atmosphere. Usually has great art on the walls, and jazz on Monday nights.

I come to Winston Salem every month, and I make sure to stop here every morning that Im here. Coffee is superb. Barista is very friendly and makes lattes just how I like them. I havent been to any other coffee place in the city, but I havent had any reason to given how good the coffee is at this location.

Great service, high top tables, couches, cage menu but you can also order food from the pub. Doors connect it directly to Bookmarks.

Americano was good for the price but also asked for cold brew coffee with cold foam and got a chai with cold foam. Really disappointed in that. The person who took our order seemed to be incredibly upset to be working that day and was just mean. The other person who made it was better but still not good service. Very weird experience since the brew pub is always a fun time.

I was in a wedding over the weekend that was held at this place and the unprofessionalism and unkindness that the wedding party and guests received is something to be talked about. The bride and groom spent their hard earned money at this place just to be treated as though they were an inconvenience. The event coordinator was as rude as they come and the bartenders were haggling people and bridal party for IDs as if we had them on us after being in the wedding. And lastly, they kicked them out early because they said someone brought in outside liquor. This "outside liquor" was a small bottle inside of a guests purse that was not visible to the employees and was not being drank out of. Meaning they would have had to look inside of her purse. It was an all around bad vibe surrounding what should have been a nice and stress free time for the bride and groom. Don't waste your time planning events with this business.

Footnote is a great place for a beer or coffee. Just a few steps down from the brewery and a cold or hot beverage awaits. The nighttime bartenders (Chris or Stephanie) will remember you. And you can even get food as long as no large events are happening. If you enjoy reading they are connected to a bookstore where they will allow you to browse and sip your beverage.

Stopped in for a coffee before a job interview and ended up coming back for a glass of wine afterwards! The service and atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. They have a selection of pastries and sandwiches as well as a full bar and various local beers on tap. You can sit inside or choose from one of the two patios. It's also conveniently connected to the cutest bookstore!
