My boyfriend and I are regulars at Ichiban. We come once a month, sometimes more often than that. I don't have a bad thing to say. The food is delicious, the sushi is always fresh, and service is absolutely impeccable. I would give more stars if I could. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Can't wait to go back.

Hello, hello, hello. I have eaten at Ichiban often in the past (a while ago). With prices going up and my pay still the same, I've been seeing my a lot kitchen more. I just finished not finishing my order from Ichiban Japanese Restaurant. The use to be better. I saw the sign taped to the counter where you placed your order, given you information about how the prices of items are going up, and they can now only give us one sauce. We walked away with no sauce with our order. The next issue was that this had happened twice in the past. Items weren't rung up in our order, the wrong thing, or the item was rung up but left out. We drove home. I opened my box and got a good look at my teriyaki shrimp, vegetables, and fried rice. Everything in my box was pale. Nothing looked like it was grilled or fried. I ate some, and it didn't have a taste, no type of season. The teriyaki sauce didn't have much of a flavor. They didn't add much teriyaki sauce. I also ordered mushroom soup. I opened it, and right away, it didn't smell right. The ginger salad was good. I ate the salad. My sister didn't eat her entrée or soup. She had something different from me. She did eat her spring roll. She was the best out of what she ordered. I feel like Ichiban Japanese Restaurant is cutting corners to save money and raising prices because the price of food has gone up. Understandable. You shouldn't cut too many corners. The food is what brought you customers. The customers bring money and new customers. Unless you're making money other ways and you don't care about this restaurant, then, yeah.Parking: There is parking at the door. The parking spots are parallel. When/if you pull in if the traffic picks up in the shopping center, it can be hard to see on coming traffic. Becareful backing up, especially if you don't have a rear camera, some people are impatient, entitled, distracted, or may assume you have a rear camera. I suggest parking over in the lot if you're able to.

Place was very clean. However the portions were very small. About 3 Oz of chicken in hibachi chicken. Not very flavorful. The balance was cabbage. For the price very poor value.

My wife and I have been coming here for over 20 years. We only do the sushi. It is always very good. The same sushi chefs have been here for all those years. It is wonderful. We drive over an hour to get here for the quality and service. Highly recommend.

Sushi is what they should stick to. That part was good. The hibachi steak (that I asked to be cooked medium rare) was way past well done and the shrimp were not much larger than a nickel. At 17.95 I expected much better quality. Lackluster taste by itself but the sauces helped. House salad dressing was a "0".Wont return for anything but the sushi.

Food used to be much better here. Not sure as to what caused the quality to go down but I doubt I will return anytime soon. Beef was not lean like it used to be and the dishes do Not need all that cabbage in them.
