Having eaten at the other 2 location, Robinhood Village and in Advance, I decided to try this location even though the Yelp reviews were definitely a mixed bag - much of the negative ones dealt with poor service! I was quickly seated, given a menu, and my beverage order was taken and shortly after that the complimentary chips and salsa arrived. The salsa was chunky with bits of chopped white onion throughout, and the heat level was nice! The beer came accompanied by a very frosted glass. The Carnita were out in just over 10 minutes, well sized and the large chunks of pork were nicely cooked with some outside crust, and a good amount of delicious fat streak through out the meat. This was very closed to the quality I saw in the same dish at the location in Advance. The platter came with beans and lightly dressed shredded lettuce topped with sliced avocado and pico - no rice! The beans, a mixture of whole and mashed, were exceptional, and that is more than a little rare in Mexican restaurants. The salad was refreshing and the avocado was very fresh tasting. The service I received was without fault - I ordered a second beer, and it came with another very well frosted glass! I can't imagine not coming here from time to time! Ambiance - 4 Food - 4.5 Service - 5 Value - 4.5 Beans were outstanding No Rice Salad was fresh and lightly dressed, sliced avocado was fresh Carnitas were perfectly cooked, with great flavor, some outside crust

Honestly I love this spot. The gentleman who I see at the door (presumably the owner) is always quick to welcome us in. We have a family of five including two children under 6 which they happily welcome. Service and food are always spot on. This will continue to be our favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming for parents with small children.

Place looks nice! According to Google and their own website and signage, they open at 10am. We did outside at 10:30am and the place was locked up. Will try sometime in the future.
