Forgot okra on my plate and was charged for it. Prior, asked was they serving gizzards was told they had them but sold out. In other terms, they’re weren’t dropping any.

Just tried for the first time 45 minutes ago. EXTREMELY happy with everything mostly. I had the four-piece chicken dinner, which was two thighs and two legs, and my sides were pinto beans and the mac-and-cheese. The chicken was beyond perfect…scrumptious!! The pinto beans also were excellent; not everybody can season a pot of beans successfully, but they can. My only ding is the mac, which was a reddish color, and miles from the rich, creamy, cheesy noodles I expect when I think mac-and-cheese. However, although I won’t ever order it again, I did manage to eat quite a bit of it…something kept me going back in. I also got a side of chicken livers, and devoured them right away. They were fried beautifully, and seasoned perfectly.So, overall my experience was five star, I was in and out in a flash, the place was clean, cozy and comfy, the staff were amazing, the prices were good, and my food was delicious. I’ll definitely go back.

My family loves, loves, loves some mountain fried chicken!! They have some amazing mac and cheese and peach cobbler, too! If you haven't tried mountain fried, you're missing out! They also cater too! You can call ahead and order if you have a bigger order as well!The service here is top notch and you don't get that from many places these days!

This was our 1st time eating here and the party wing's really didn't have any seasoning to it! I ordered the 10 wing and fries special and smothered my wings in hot sauce.
