“I went to BLL for the first time the other night and was very impressed. We got the cheese ravioli, shrimp scampi, and arrincini. Everything was excellent. Our server was very kind and had great suggestions. The restaurant isn't huge inside but they have lots of seating and it has a charming atmosphere. I don't know what took us so long to check this place out but I'm glad we found it.“

“Found a great little Italian place on the north side of town. Clean and well lighted. Service was quick and caring. Love their sauce which had just the right amount of onion and bell peppers and I'm pretty sure by the color that they used San Marzano tomatoes and a hint of sweet. I had the lasagna and my wife had the spaghetti, both of which were excellent. We saw a couple of pizzas go by that also looked very good. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes which were more than adequate. Seems like a family owned business and I think they have been there for a while. We will definitely return if we are in that area around dinner time.“

“Located off the beaten path, this place offers great food at affordable prices. At a stand alone building with its own private parking lot. You are immediately greeted by one of their employees. There are always specials posted on a board near the entrance and more often than not they are really nice choices. Place has ample seating inside and is very comfortable not tight like other places. For appetizers we had the Bruschetta which was really good. Mozzarella sticks were perfectly seasoned on outside and hot gooey cheese inside. The soup of the day was Lobster Bosque, it did not impress, watery, salty and absolutely no lobster meat in it. The Philly Cheesesteak and Chicken Cheesesteak were both very hearty and filling g according to my daughter and friend. I had the chicken Parm hero, good sauce to mozzarella ration. Chicken had good flavor though it was cut up and I prefer whole cutlets. Overall a great deal for the money. Our waitress was super friendly and patient with us. She always kept on top of our drinks and consistently checked on us.“

You order at the counter and they will call you up when ready. Staff & owners are very friendly. There is plenty of booth seating and there is always funky music play for a nice vibe. You feel like you’re back in a NY pizzeria. We ordered the 12” White Pizza, which has ricotta, tomatoes and garlic. I asked for extra garlic, which was a mistake. I should have asked if it was fresh garlic, it was not, they use garlic powder which killed my taste buds on my tongue. I have had regular pizza here among other items before and loved it all. I did not hate it this time but I wish they used fresh garlic…..makes a huge difference in my honest opinion. As far as the fresh ricotta and mozzarella it was on point, tomatoes may have been canned and also not fresh. Crust is thin and oven baked perfectly. Still love this place, just no extra Garlic!!! “Best cheese pizza in town! I cannot say the name of the pasta in the red sauce but it was delicious! The first word starts with C and the seconds word starts with P. The Cheese Steak Works was awesome. The salads are great and HUGE (best when they’re really cold). The Margherita pizza is fantastic, but you may want to just eat it with a fork. Overall, Vinnie’s is my new favorite!“
“Mamma Mia's is a great little Italian place when you're craving pizza, pasta or subs. We have enjoyed their pizza every visit and their pasta is good as well. The chicken fettuccini Alfredo is great and my daughters both love the spaghetti and meatballs. Servings sizes are large and we always have leftovers. This is a very causal place, great for midday lunch or going with the kids. You order when you go in at the register and then the food is brought to your table. Drinks are self refill. I wouldn't say this is authentic Italian but it is delicious & satisfies the Italian craving when it hits!“
“Enjoyed a delicious pizza dinner from The Pizza Place last night. We first discovered this awesome spot through a Yelp event and have been back several times since. We don't get out here too often, but decided on our way to Winston to meet up with family we'd pick up 3 of their 24" pizzas....which are huge. We totally overshot the amount we ordered considering we were only feeding 6 adults and 3 kids under the age of 8, fortunately I have no issues with extra pizza! We called in our order as we were leaving Greensboro, and short of a little confusion on how long they'd take to get made (since the employee was new), everything worked out perfect and we're ready when we arrived. We got one pepperoni, one half pepperoni half plain cheese and one chicken bacon ranch. All were delicious and the kids were amazed by how big they were! We love this place and will certainly be returning!“

“Great experience on this visit to Zito! Firstly, I love the uniqueness of the menu. Where else can you get Canadian, Greek, and pizza all in one spot? The poutine was grand. The fries were hand cut and there was no shortage of cheese curds. The brown gravy had a ton of flavor. Exactly as a traditional poutine should be, but they had other fun poutine options like Philly steak and pizza style. I really was craving Greek food so I decided to try the spanakopita platter. Huge portion! It had four nice sized pieces of spanakopita and it was perfectly crispy with a nice filling. It also came with a Greek salad, rice, pita, tzatziki, and seasoned potatoes that were really unique and flavorful. The prices here were great for the portion sizes. Our server, Lucy Belle, was great throughout the whole experience! We really enjoyed her. Zito has something for everyone and it's a unique, locally owned joint that's worth checking out!“
“Always great service with this team every time I come in. It's been there for a while since I was a youngin, family use to always go for a quick lunch or when we had family night. The food is always great and staff friendly. The only thing and it's not the staffs fault at all is the seating the booths are tight for some bigger people, or like those of us who wear bodyarmor carriers and so on. The booths are solid so there is no moving or such, maybe one day they will buy out a new building or take on one of neighbors stores, but reguardless the place is still one of the best pizza spots in WS.“

Unfortunately, Covid resulted in the restaurant stopping dining in in early 2022 because they were not able to employ adequate staff. They still offer take out and deliver from a much reduced menu. I wanted a Stromboli, but this Italian classic is no longer offered. So instead I took a lunch special - 1/2 Italian Sub with a salad and fountain drink for $8 and some change. The order was available quickly and I was on my way. This was a nice lunch - the salad was fresh tasting and flavorful, bolstered by the house Italian dressing. The sub was quite nice as well, well filled with ham, salami, pepperoni, and cheese, then topped with lettuce, tomato. & mayo on nice crusty roll. A good lunch at a very good price!“

Usually it's great but this time , not so great, the lg subs we got were on the dry side but the pizza was perfect.
