Saw this place on tiktok and got a couple of recommendations for it so decided to give it a try. It was well worth every penny! I ordered the oxtails, yams and the mac & cheese. All the food was delicious. The lady serving us, who I'm guessing was the owner, was very polite and helpful. She could tell we'd never been there and offered us a piece of sweet potatoe pie. It was great! If you're in the area definitely try them out. I know I'll be back when I come back to Winston-Salem!

So today I had the opportunity to stop in at Taste of the triad Southern cuisine in Winston Salem n.c. I must say it was a very comforting experience. The staff was very friendly and made me feel as though I was in Grandma's house. The food was excellent I had the meatloaf and might I say it was a very nice helping with my sides being that of Mac and cheese, potato salad, and cabbage and collard greens. Everything was spot on. The price was reasonable for the quality of food and the service they provided. Thank you. ILL BE BACK ?

My first time, the food was like cafeteria style, so much to chose from good old southern style cooking. The food looked fresh it had not been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I ordered fish which was cooked fresh. The place was very clean and the ladies that worked was clean also. I will tell a friend and I will go back.

The food here is amazing!!!! We went after church on Sunday and the food was to die for. Our server was also great. She was super attentive. Awesome dining experience! If you're looking for Soul Food, this is definitely the place to go. I can't wait to go back. Ribs (Beef and Pork), fried chicken, fish, meatloaf, mac, collards, cabbage, yams, potato salad, banana pudding, cakes, and the list goes on and on.?

Honestly you get what you paid for. we went in for fish but they were sold out; so instead I got wings snd my husband got baked chicken. While my wings had flavor there was so much feathers on it. My husband chicken was bland and the mac & cheese looked like soup. Overall I will give this place a 3 out of 10. I gave this place a try because of a tik tok post.

Watched mr chimetime do a review on this and thought I'd give them a try. I got oxtail w/gravy over rice, yams and collard/cabbage mix with a lemonade to drink. Oxtail was bland and a little on the tough side gravy was bland and very little rice. The yams were great I gotta say but the greems/cabbage was not very flavourful but had some. The lemonade was good but very sweet, I could have made a half of gallon of great lemonade with that concentrated formula in my cup ?. So anyway I'd give them a 6.8 out of 10 rating on food overall even though I will be back to rate some more dishes like the meatloaf that I really wanted to try when I seen and smelt it.Vegetarian options: Lots of soul food down south vegetable options
