Saw this place on tiktok and got a couple of recommendations for it so decided to give it a try. It was well worth every penny! I ordered the oxtails, yams and the mac & cheese. All the food was delicious. The lady serving us, who I'm guessing was the owner, was very polite and helpful. She could tell we'd never been there and offered us a piece of sweet potatoe pie. It was great! If you're in the area definitely try them out. I know I'll be back when I come back to Winston-Salem!
So today I had the opportunity to stop in at Taste of the triad Southern cuisine in Winston Salem n.c. I must say it was a very comforting experience. The staff was very friendly and made me feel as though I was in Grandma's house. The food was excellent I had the meatloaf and might I say it was a very nice helping with my sides being that of Mac and cheese, potato salad, and cabbage and collard greens. Everything was spot on.
