Had a great experience at Young Cardinal. Staff was attentive to our needs, food was delicious, there was no wait on a Wednesday morning around 10am. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you are in the area looking for a breakfast place that makes delicious food from scratch.

My wife came to this place with her friends a few times and said that she had been wanting to take me here since she liked it so much. She persuaded me to come here on a Friday morning for breakfast. At first I was skeptical, since we got here at 8 and there was only one party in the restaurant, the hostess was busy on the phone taking other orders and did not even greet us. But then when we finally got our order, I must say, the omelette I ordered was very good. It’s not your fancy brunch or breakfast place, rather it is very down-to-earth, something you could eat every day. The grits had just the right amount of cream in it. Our server was friendly as well. Overall we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere there. Would come back for more.

First off the mimosa's are definitely worth getting the craft, they make their mimosa's right with a full bottle of champagne and then the mixers. Their take on the Cuban is different, while the meat was great, they put way too much grain mustard on it and without Cuban bread to absorb the extra moisture the Texas toast just got soggy and fell apart. If 100% grain mustard with horseradish is your thing, their Cuban is the way to go but it was too much for me. The main star of this place are their Benedict's and their mimosa's.

Literally the best place to get brunch. I love the hot honey fried chicken and pimento cheese egg Benedict I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to eat anything else it’s so good. I also love the fact that if I have to wait for a table table, I can go shopping and they’ll call me.

Stopped in here for breakfast this morning and so glad we did. The scrambled eggs were 10/10. Scrambled soft. The bacon was delicious and the gravy was unique but really good. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere new to try for breakfast!

So, let me spill the tea on Young Cardinal Cafe in Winston-Salem. Brunch there? Next level! The Eggs Benedict with pulled pork was like a flavor explosion – savory, tender, just perfect. And don't even get me started on the avocado toast with ahi tuna; it's like they're breaking all the rules, but in the best way possible. Creamy avocado, paired with that flavorful tuna – total game-changer.The vibes at Young Cardinal Cafe? Cozy, welcoming, and just the right amount of cool. It's not just about the food; it's an entire experience. They've got this brunch thing down to an art, seriously. If you're on the hunt for a brunch spot that's not your average eggs-and-toast joint, this is it. Young Cardinal Cafe doesn't just serve food; they craft culinary masterpieces that'll have your taste buds doing a happy dance. Trust me, this place is the real deal for a brunch that's anything but basic.
