“This was a great place to eat while staying at the beach for a week. Our server was very attentive and helpful. This was my first experience at a Mellow Mushroom. I got The Elevated Cobb, it was really good and the chicken is as good as it says it is. My boyfriend got The Italian Hoagie and he said it was delicious! And I had to agree. My boyfriend got the Yellow Submarine mixed drink and it was made perfectly. The restaurant was very clean including the bathroom. We also had a sugar cookie and peanut butter cookie. The sugar cookie was so good. We will definitely be back when we go to Wrightsville beach again.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian pizza and saladsParking: Lots of parking right in front of the buildingKid-friendliness: High chairs are available. “Pizza and staff were kinda meh. But it's still pizza so that's better than no pizza. And it's at the beach... so that's kinda cool, I guess? The pizza really wasn't that great though; kinda bland and greasy and floppy.It's not horrible, just forgettable.But it's beach pizza... “OMG! We did the class with the owner and it was so fun! We didn’t know such a gem was right in our backyard. They were voted top 100 pizzerias in the nation and they did not disappoint! All of their ingredients are imported from Italy so you really get authentic pizza and experience. “My boyfriend and I just found our new favorite spot! He’s off on Sundays and we decided to check this place out. He has a sever dairy allergy and they were totally cool with eliminating dairy when he made his own pie. He is from Queens so pizza is always a very trying option down here to satiate his craving. This place is legit! The owners are from NY and were very welcoming to us! Not to mention, to find a place down here that has as-close-to authentic Sicilian style is rare and they deliver on it! “As a former New York and CT resident I haven't found a place worth recommending till now. I initially ordered Stromboli and calzones cuz those are harder to F up. “First things first Salita makes a delicious pizza, they have a lot of really interesting and unique pizza options and fun flavor combinations to try.Their pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven and that flavor can't be beat. They are located in the middle of the cargo district and you order from their take out window. They do not have an designated seating but there are lots of options of where to sit in the area. The pizza came out pretty quickly considering it is made fresh and took around 15 minutes. The only reason they are not receiving 5 stars from me is the price, it is a little steep. All of the pizzas from my knowledge are about 10" and the prices vary from $18-20 (except for the margarita pizza which is $13) per pizza. Whether or not the price is worth it is up to you, but I certainly think they are worth giving a shot because they are some excellently crafted pizzas.“

“My wife and I are NJ/NYC natives, and had my share of good Italian. Nicola’ is sold…meat, fish, or chicken you can’t go wrong. Plus homemade pasta. Last night I had my summer favorite…. Cavatelli with broccoli. Wine list is broad enough for anyone to find something they like. Wife is celiac, waitress understood what that means, and was totally accommodating.“

“Excellently unconventional pizzas, excellently executed. I had the Thai Dye Pizza, a fusion between a typical pizza and southeast Asian flavors. I would HIGHLY recommend trying this wonderful creation.The staff is friendly, helpful, and patient. The atmosphere is both fun and family-friendly. “We love Italian Bistro and were so excited to try the new location. Unfortunately the young woman working the register was lacking in customer service and was very rude, even in front of the manager (who did nothing to reprimand her), so we will not be back to this location. I had asked for no red onion on either my pizza or my salad, it came on both. Picked it off the salad fine, and off the pizza, but then the pizza was raw. I went up to the counter to nicely let them know, and the young woman instantly had an attitude and started arguing with me. I said, "I don't know why you're being so rude, but either way, though I said no red onion, the dough is not cooked". The manager offered to remake it and I said thank you. But the attitude of the young woman at the front and the fact that management let her speak to customers like that, is why we won't be back. We will take our $10 gift card to the Porters Neck location. Side salad and app were great! (Remade pizza was burnt)“

“This place is awesome. They have great workers and the food id awesome. This is not just for pizza. The veal parmesan, eggplant parmesan, and shrimp scampi are great too. My Father lives when I get him the veal and cannoli for dinner. He is an old Italian that grew up eating true Italian meals and is very picky at 92. Of course their pizza is delightful as well. By the way, their chicken wings are huge, we have them as our Friday meal.“

“We ordered Wheelz Pizza a few times while living in Carolina Beach for 9 months. The taste on the pizza is phenomenal and their service is quick. My only quarrel with their pizza lies in the fact that they tend to hold back on the amount of sauce and cheese from time to time so if you're not getting a pizza loaded with toppings, it can feel kind of bland. If you're going for a cheese or a pepperoni pizza, request extra sauce and cheese (for sure).“

“It was my first time ordering Ledo’s since being in the area. It tasted great as I liked Ledo’s since my days in the DMV. I didn’t get a heartburn from the sauce, and despite the pizza not being gluten free, my gut was not reactive. Everything we have ever gotten here is great and extremely reasonably priced. However, the customer service can NOT be beat! “I went here last night with my girlfriend for doordash around 15 minutes before closing and the two people who were working were Paul and Charles, they were both SUPER friendly and amazing people and they made me feel super welcome and honestly they made for such an amazing environment and atmosphere and vibe, sense it was close to closing they even gave me a free small pizza because why not and sense I was doordashing it was a very nice snack to have for the road, I recommend this place very much and thanks again Paul and Charles for making this place a great and fun restaurant to dine-in :)“

“Just spoke with "Robert" at the College road location and what a helpful gentleman. I'd only had their Thai Chicken Pizza before (which is out of this world delicious) but I wanted to try something new. He gave me some good ideas of what he likes and I'm going to branch out tonight with something new. Not sure which pie yet but I have faith that it will be as delicious as the Thai chicken one. Purpose of this review was really to just thank Robert for his patient customer service. It seems that more and more places are putting their customer service training aside and just hiring rude, unprofessional people who feel like they're doing you a favor. What a breath of fresh air to talk with someone who obviously has a passion for his job and will go far in life, no matter what road he takes.Thank you Robert, you're a good man and sometimes the simplest things make the biggest differences in life. “When I preach in Castle Hayne, many of the parishioners & I go to Uncle Louie's for lunch after worship. Both the food & service are outstanding; menu prices are very reasonable, & they have many delicious offerings. Salads are always fresh & well-prepared as well as their huge pizza slices, lasagna, & spaghetti, but Italian food isn't all Uncle Louie's offers. Their club sandwich is delicious; so are their shrimp. Such a wonderful family atmosphere to enjoy great food, outstanding service, & visit with family & friends. “We've never been to Wilmington before but were here for a special occasion. We'd just arrived to pouring rain (not the kind we get in CA) and were very hungry so we stopped in. We caught happy hour so we had a couple of Modelo's and one pizza and later were ready for a good night's sleep. I have to give a shout to our server (unfortunately, I forgot her name) but when talking with us we shared a funny thing about the JRE (JoeRoganExperience) podcast and how Rogan and Elon Musk ordered a Pineapple/Anchovy pizza from an Austin TX shop during their episode. We were joking how it sounded crazy. This sweet girl had one of the pizza cooks make a slice of pineapple anchovy pizza to see if it was any good!!! It was such a sweet and fun gesture! (btw...it was an interesting taste but I'd never order it again, lol) Then she gave us names of some other places to visit and it just started our time in Wilmington on such a great note. “I just picked up the best meal to go from here. I wish I would've got pictures of all the dishes we ordered, but the food was so good it did not last!! The bistro special pizza was so flavorful and topped full of amazingly fresh ingredients. The chicken Alfredo was of course a delicious classic. We also ordered a lemon chicken aka romana dish that had a wonderful blend of veggies and a very nice lighter lemon sauce rather than the rich creaminess of the Alfredo. Super easy to pick up at the restaurant, they have a dedicated to go entrance toward the back.“
