“This was the best thing about being stranded in Dickinson after car trouble. We discovered the Country Rose Cafe and had a memorable experience. The food was excellent! My husband had the meatball dinner and loved it. I had the tortilla soup, very nice! Great service and fun decor. I highly recommend this Cafe as a MUST STOP!”

“North Dakota! Why are you hiding this little gem from us!? I travel to film on location often and always hunt for places like this one. I’ve lived in big cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Orlando.. and I’m a big fan of Asian food and specifically Vietnamese.

This place is very unassuming but it packs a punch. My friend and I ordered the Spring Rolls, Beef Fried Rice and a side of Pho broth (to go order). This blew my expectations out of the water. Everything we had was fresh and had great highlights to every bite. The spring roll peanut sauce is amazing, the soft steak bites in the fried rice was excellent.

I could go on but you just gotta stop in and try it. This was my favorite lunch of the trip from Seattle to Chicago.”

“We came from NY to visit the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and stopped in here. I’m 65 years old and have NEVER had a better sandwich than the waffle ham and cheese. My grandson tried it and took most of it from me (he’s lucky he’s so darn cute). Our waitress was a sweetheart. 10 out of 10!”

“the sticky bun latte is my favorite coffee and my go to order. it's always worth the wait in the line (and the line is a testament to how good they are) the seasonal drinks are always fun and I haven't had a bad pastry (or a bad coffee really -a couple I didn't like the flavors, but the were all well- balanced)”

“Daily Perks in Mandan has the greatest staff of any coffee shop in the BisMan area. The ladies there are always genuinely happy to see customers when they pull up, greeting with smiles and any drink recommendations you could want. “I haven’t been going here too long myself, but I’ve already tried a variety of drinks and this place has an amazing selection, with everything tasting good (I didn’t care much for the matcha tea latte but I won’t knock them for it because it’s my personal preference, otherwise a good drink)! My favorite drink is the lavender white mocha. Very quick and super friendly staff. 10/10 or 5/5!”

The pizza is also excellent.
Three different crusts to choose from and plenty of toppings to chose from.”

“As a truck driver, I am always on the lookout for a great cup of coffee. Yesterday, while near the Walmart store in Dickinson, I discovered Poppy's. Upon exiting Walmart, I noticed a pink little shack directly across the street from Pizza Ranch. The first thing that caught my attention was the exceptional customer service; despite assisting another customer, the woman took the time to greet me. She was sweet, kind, and had a great spirit. As I waited, her son approached, crawled up, opened the window, and handed me a slip of paper with doodles or ink stamps, which I found to be a unique touch. As he crawled down, he mentioned that it might still be wet, which I thought was a charming gesture. I ordered a cold brew with heavy whipping cream, and the coffee was amazing. However, even if it hadn't been, the customer service was outstanding. The little boy helping his mother was adorable and entertaining. I appreciated our conversation about tornadoes, and I apologize for forgetting to tip. I plan to rectify that soon. Thank you for the wonderful cup of iced coffee, the great conversation, and the smile from your son. If you're passing through Dickinson, North Dakota, I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. Scott L.”

“I haven't been to a subway for a long time because I kind of got tired of the menu.This was the best Subway I have ever had in my entire life. It had shredded chicken and roast beef and all kinds of new REALLY GOOD stuff!NOW I WILL SEE IT IF WE HAVE A SUBWAY LIKE THAT IN OUR TOWN. I HOPE SO.

“The employees are great. Friendly and offered a taste of anything I was interested in. They had a wide selection of tastes of their main sausage which is a summer sausage --- garlic was the best. I was a little disappointed that a shop with a very German name didn't have some of the traditional German sausages like weisswurst, leberkase, etc. But the sausages and meats that I bought were all excellent. Beef sticks I highly recommend.”

“I have read the comments below and I am not sure if we are eating at the same place because I always get great service and wonderful food with a great smile. I am originally from Kansas and our Arby's there wasn't much to talk about but this Arby's is the best Arby's in the Nation as far as I am concerned. Maybe if you are sweet to the workers they will be sweet back to you. The food service industry is an hostile one because people are rude and very hungry and very quick to get upset if things go wrong and by the other comments I think that happens an awful lot. Awesome place with awesome food and awesome service. ���”

“We drive from Northern Michigan to Yellowstone's National Park and back, and this was by far the BEST Subway we have ever been to. Easy to find right off the highway, clean, great selection to choose from, and the ladies working were super nice (even though they were busy) AND knew what tippings the choices came with. Amazing!! If I could give 10 stars, I would.”

“Traveling thru town and I'm always looking for authentic Mexican food. This place was on point! Very delicious and ws made to order. I will say, the guy with glasses that took my to go order was not the friendliest and when I realized after I ordered that I probably don't get complimentary chips and salsa, I immediately ordered them when he came back up front and he was so irritated about it then he charged me $4 instead of the menu price of $3 and no salsa but I didn't say anything, they were good so I figured maybe he was having a bad day.”
