“I am from Fargo, my whole life and today it was my only second time ever being here at Sammy’s Pizza. I love the pizza I ordered two of them. I ordered a whole special with lots of extra mushrooms. I never got any mushrooms whatsoever on it and a taco pizza. The whole special pizza was burnt on the bottom. It was very chaotic in there, but even with a burnt crust we never complained.“

“The food at this place IS AMAZING. With that being said, the service is the slowest you will ever experience 99% of the time, and it doesn’t matter how you order. It’s a little better during heavy bar traffic hours, I assume they save their best staff for those shifts. But literally only order here if you have an hour to waste. And NEVER order delivery, your food will be cold and ruined by the time you get it. But if you have time and don’t care about the total lack of speed, this is some of the best food in town.“

If she takes your order in person she has to stop preparing someone else's order. Another business suffering with staff shortages. But she did an outstanding job on my pizzas.“

They often make sure you get the right price or pick the right coupons to make sure you don't overspend. If they mess up on an order, or are way backed up and you have to wait for a long time to get your food, they'll sometimes give you a discount. Or give you your order on them (That is only if you're a regular and eat there all of the time).I even once brought in a $50 bill and forgot they only accept $20 bills at most; since I'm a loyal customer, they trusted me to pay them back when I ordered again 2 days later.They treat you like a small home town restaurant customer. “The pizza is delicious! I ordered a wild mushroom pizza for Friday night during Lent and it didn’t feel like much of a sacrifice. My daughter had a mahgerita pizza and it was also delicious. The crust is fantastic- combined with house made sauces and dressings (we shared a mixed green salad with basil dressing) it makes for a medley of deliciousness in your mouth. Pair the delicious food with the great atmosphere and awesome service- our server was Grace and she is pure joy- this place is special. Give it a try!“
