“Service was great! The check out was absolutely horrible. The kid was rude and more worried about his hair than being courteous to us. When we ordered our piece of pie he threw it in there. We then asked for a plastic fork so we could eat it, he walked away to the bathroom. Another worker had to pick up his slack. Everything else was amazing food and our waitress was super sweet. I don't like how he was playing with his hair and touching our desert. I can't quite remember his name besides that it started with a c. He was wearing a UND hockey zip up. Sorry to complain, but we are very upset with how he treated us and the way he spoke to us and completely ignored the needs of us at the end of an amazing experience.3/17/24“
“The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the cake tasted pretty good, but you guys mistook an entire word for another. The girl working the desk said “some of us have dyslexia so that’s why”. I’m not trying to be rude, but maybe that person shouldn’t be writing things on cakes?? If I order another cake from there, I definitely won’t have any writing on it.“
“This new manager is doing a good job. Customer service is decent. I haven't noticed negativity or abuse. I guess it would be good if the people in customer service didn't look like children sitting in church, against their will. This review is a snapshot of this time period. Anything can change at any time.Actually, sometimes Hugo's prices are okay. I've noticed several clerks who have gone above and beyond to try to help me find a product, too.I think the district manager has decided to send all the managers with bad attitudes to certain stores and this store he wants to be proud of. I think they are sending the managers with bad attitudes to the Columbia rd. and 13th Ave. North stores. So, those might be the stores to avoid.“
“What a lovely find! Walking in one discovers right away the reason for its popularity: Friendly service, great food and coffee, and a wonderful, calm atmosphere. Will definitely be coming here again as often as I’m in the area. The server had great recommendations, and the food is fresh made and really hits the spot.“
“From the moment you walk into the store, it’s clean, staff are friendly, quick to get your order, not to mention easy to order on line and then of course, they are delicious cookies. All around good experience and I’m a repeat customer for life.“
