Our salad and sandwich tasted ok, but wasn't a highlight.
Convenient for a quick stop during the day.”

“Excellent food and service. We had the 3 egg omelet with hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the omelets were cooked to perfection, not watery or dry but just right.”

“First time being in North Dakota. My boyfriend & I went to Bismarck to go eat and look around. I looked up places to eat. The Paddle Trap caught my eye. We got there immediately, greeted by Kayla, who turned out to be our server. She was so sweet and complimented my sweatshirt with Michael Myers, and Jason on it. Had to return the favor because her fit was soooo cute! I had a few questions for her and she gladly answered. She let me try some of their Trap Calm chowder and I loved it! I do recommend the calm chowder as well as Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich! If I am ever lucky enough to make it back to North Dakota, I’ll have to stop by for more amazing food!”

“We absolutely love Copper Dog Cafe! The atmosphere is wonderful! It has a peaceful, happy, vibing energy that made us feel comfortable, like we were at home or at a relative’s or close friend’s house. They have many fun games, a children’s play area, and things to do as a family while you wait for your food. The coffee is delicious and I’m sold on some of their unique flavors, and of course their waffles are absolutely the best, most mouth watering yum for any meal! Our favorite is the biscuits and gravy waffle! All around one of the absolutely best places in the Bisman area for breakfast, brunch, brinner, etc 💖😁”

“I had a surprise birthday party there. we had about 25 people upstairs. the service was immaculate!! drinks where always on the way. we ordered food which was there in about 15 minutes! everything was perfect. the food looked so good and tasted even better! thank you so much to the staff for making my day special!”

“Wow! We’ll start there. Their breakfast burrito, tiny but mighty! BEST IN BISMARCK. Packed with flavor, I chose the bacon breakfast burrito that comes with cheese, egg, potato, and salsa if you would like. Let me just tell you, I have been MISSING breakfast burritos from Southern California and this, this right here.. compares close. It is hot, fresh, delish. The salsa tastes home-made, which I appreciate! If it’s not, it’s sure tasty. The Hot Italian sandwich is also very tasty. I have yet to try the coffee, instead I chose their “Put the lime in the Coconut” Lotus drink which is delicious! As well as their peach mango refresher. I am excited to come back to try their coffee. Their burritos alone will have me coming back time after time. Next time, perhaps I’ll try their chorizo or sausage and I will surely have to get two! Mega impressed.”

“It's a good small town bar. I have been going there for years and really enjoy it. When I first started going I wasn't treated very kindly because I wasn't a regular but once they get to know you there and see your face more often they become very friendly people.”

“Had the tenders and wedges. Very good. As a construction worker I eat at gas stations often, this is far superior to the chicken at other stops. Staff was excellent as they always have been at this particular gas stop! Thanks! We loved it.”

“Stopped in for the first time last night for Karaoke and I had an amazing time. There were a lot of people, and the DJ was awesome. Bartenders were always hustling, and the vibe was a good one. Cool clean layout, indoor and outdoor seating, blackjack, pool, and e-tabs/reels. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but I'll be back soon to do so

“We had Das Mountain last night for a sandwich and burger. Both were out of this world while not breaking the bank. The burger was huge, and the sandwich was so tasty. Everything we’ve had from them in the past is so perfectly done. The menu is well curated and you can tell the owners (owner operated) put a lot of passion and effort into what they do. We highly recommend this locally owned traveling kitchen. It’s worth going out of your way to visit them.”

“Drinks are good, but hate playing league darts there, because it's just to crowded. Specially if you're playing on the end board by the bar. You have customers moving around by the bar while you're throwing, employees walking back & forth to the pizza machine, which is right beside the dart board.”

“The atmosphere is crammed and dark. Trying to get out of the park space is tricky. A few times they had a big selection, but mostly, it is about 10 varieties and almost always, all that is left is the higher priced donuts. Great donuts if you like what they have that day. :)”

“Placed my order at the drive-in. Ordered 6 piece chicken nuggets as part of order, guy kept switching it to chicken tenders. Food was exceptional and wait time for order was quick. Plan to definitely return to this location.”

“This is the best McD's around. Much nicer, 100% friendlier than any of the Bismarck McD's. They don't force you to use the video screen to order, and demean you like the Bismarck McD on State St does if you don't. Thanks Mandan staff for a smile and good service.”
