Great place to hang out with friends, play pool, and have some drinks. Beer selection is not amazing, but has a few non-domestic brews worth a taste. Has bar pizza and snack mix if you're hungry. Good place to unwind with friends and coworkers on the weekend or after work.
This was my go to bar eons ago when I was in college. it used to be a raucous, noisy fun place. it was worth it just to go to the bathrooms (graffiti was priceless ). Now is been sanitized. Just not the same anymore. :(

I first went to the Barley Pop in the summer of 77 and was fixture for next four years. I lived down the street from the bar. Use to go there most nights and after every softball game. I went to Ruby’s wedding back in 78 I believe it was. What a great place. Ruby was great guy he always had time to talk. So happy to see it’s still going, congrats RubyPaul Hurt
