“I loved Atypical Brewery while visiting Minot! During my week here, I visited twice and had a great time both visits! The little cottage it is located in is adorable, and is the coolest setting! The bartenders are all very friendly, as well as everyone around the bar when I was there. I had a great time meeting different people there, and they remembered me from my first visit! They were also very helpful in giving me some food recommendations around town. All of the beers I tried were excellent, and I especially enjoyed the London fog one. It was unique and had a great taste. The prices were also great for a quality, locally made beer, and I appreciated the 5oz option so that I was able to try a few different kinds. I am just disappointed that Atypical isn't closer to home! I'm hoping to visit Minot again just so I can go back!”
“Clair was so much fun upbeat and so nice service was with a smile and food was served hot and to orderKid-friendliness: We had a infant and staff was very sweet and kind to our baby”
“Stephanie has graciously taken time out of her busy work day to help educate students on the importance of nutrition! She has a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about it! Thank you!”
“Thank you to Mark and his crew in the Clubhouse for a wonderful Class Reunion gathering for the Glenburn Classes of 96 and 97. The food was awesome, including all of the steaks cooked exactly to order. If you know the food industry, that isn't always easy in a group setting. The atmosphere was perfect for our group and event. Having worked many years in this location at the Original Minot Country Club, it is so good to see this special place thriving again. We felt very welcomed in both the course and in the Clubhouse. I would highly recommend the Vardon for your next group, golf gathering, Christmas party or just a fun night out! Thanks again to Mark, Todd, and crew!”
“Food was delicious and waitress was so friendly and helpfulDietary restrictions: Had options for the Celiac person with usKid-friendliness: Kids were happy with their food, enjoyed looking at everything around and were engaged by our waitress. Enjoyable experience all around”
“Highly recommend the Caymus Cab paired with a medium rare steak Oscar style. Wasn't a fan of the pheasants strips since they changed the recipe. Was always the go to but not the same now.”
“I am a contractor that works on the Minot Air Force Base can we stop by here to eat for lunch I think this is the best cheesesteak sub place in Minot I wish they were in town and not just on the base”
“This visit was great, we had not been here in a few years because of some bad experiences with the food, we were pleasantly surprised. We had the seaweed salad and beef soup to start. We were given a very large portion of seaweed salad compared to most other restaurants and there were fillers (lettuce under the salad)to make it look bigger. The beef soup had great flavor (though it may be pretty salty for some taste). My husband got the sashimi deluxe, all the fish seemed fresh and presented nicely. I got the tuna sashimi, white tuna sashimi, and Ahi tower roll. The tuna sashimi was fresh and mild tasting. The white tuna sashimi was the best thing I ate here, the flavor was almost buttery and it melted in your mouth. The Ahi roll had great flavor, it was probably not my favorite thing, because we have not really consumed sugar in over 6 months, so the eal sauce was very sweet to me. Food overall was very satisfying! The service was great. The server was friendly and very attentive without being invasive. Would definitely go back again!”
“The 'original' crust was very good, somewhat thick for an "original"/"hand tossed", soft & chewy with nice bite & flavor; a highlight. Sauce was akin (& probably superior) to little caesar's - sweeter, slightly tart, prominent oregano. cheese remained mostly separate from other toppings (i.e. cheese didn't melt to fuse with toppings); as a result, toppings literally toppled off the sides of slices. toppings on the Deluxe were tasty enough. The big soft sausage pieces were the best. i might leave off peppers next time as they clashed with the sauce. cheese had a fine flavor but wasn't melty-hot, unfortunately. Order was ready in the time given, 20 minutes. Service was fine. Restrooms could've used some restocking and maintenance. Marcos was a decent value. The original crust stood out as high quality versus other national chains' mid-thick pizza crusts. There was nothing wrong with the toppings' taste. A more toasty, melty cheese would've been nice, but might be a personal preference and no strike against this particular Marco's.”
“This place has such a cool vibe and is in a perfect downtown spot! Their bourbon bacon deviled eggs were AMAZING!!! French dip sandwich was great! Drinks were also fabulous!”
