“Hands down, one of my most favorite places!!! The food, atmosphere and service is phenomenal. We have held retiring, birthday and anniversary celebrations in the Wine Cellar room. The private dining experience was amazing. You have to request Ashlyn, she always takes such great care of us. She’s a true rockstar! You will not regret dining at The Committee Chophouse!“
“Exceptionally accommodating, great food, and great service! They were able to host a spur of the whim table of 12 despite being busy with smiles on their faces and they food came out promptly and was excellent. We would not hesitate to come back if in Omaha.“
“This bar is one of the most detail oriented and creative bars I've been to. Not just in Omaha, but in the entire country. It's fun, colorful, and puts everyone in a good mood. Bartenders is super friendly and it's amazing to watch them assemble all of the complex concoctions the menu has to offer. You won't feel like you're in Nebraska when you're in this bar“
“Great old building that has been beautifully revamped. Up scale atmosphere. Food is beyond fabulous! Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with homemade ricotta, Caramel Apple French Toast, tator tots, Eggs Benedict with Italian sausage and Cannoli DiGiacomo are all incredibly delicious. Service is great. The owners know what they are doing! This was our second trip and will not be our last as this is our new place for bunch. It was packed today so I suggest you make a reservation. You will not be sorry!“
“We loved our meal here last weekend. We hit Happy Hour which was a nice surprise. The coconut crab soup was delish, the Rangoon were standard but yummy, the Roll with the Chimichurri was Great, totally different flavor profile but we wanted to try something we've never seen. The Thai lettuce wraps, also standard but very good version and the kids bento box combos were welcome, The raspberry sorbet and chocolate dessert was a perfect ending. Its nice to be happy with the money you spent on dining out....we will return next time we in town“
“This is the coziest & most delightful place. Whether you are looking to kick a habit or just hoping to spice up an evening on a work night without regretting it the morning after, this is the perfect spot. Drinks are so good, and they've got a bunch of board games you can play!“
“Sophisticated | Date-Spot | MocktailsSophisticated - Probably the best vibe in Omaha. It truly is an NYC or Chicago cocktail bar transported to Omaha. The table finishes, the mixologist, the menu, and the awesome tree in the middle of the bar give you an upscale, unmatched vibe in Omaha. Date Spot - This is an ideal date spot. It is a great place to start your night, end your night, or impress someone with an upscale first date with drinks. Mocktails - The menu has two mocktails - both are really good. Their additive flavor ranges, including blackberry, blueberry, and pineapple, make them special. Pro tip - They definitely screen the clientele. I've been three times, and the service was dependent on the fashion/dress of the group. WE GOT GREAT SERVICE when I was with a group dressed to impress. When I came over after a round of golf with a group in shorts and polos, we got above-average service. When I went with my in-laws, and we were all in t-shirts, shorts, and hoodies, we were ignored. Therefore, make sure you look the part if you get drinks there.“
“Great place to reserve for a large group or party! Saro kindly hosted my graduation party and it was the most wonderful experience. The layout is open in such a way that I did not feel like anyone was excluded during the party because we could always have eyes on everyone there. The turnout was quick throughout the entire night for drinks and we never ran out of yummy easily snackable plates. As an added bonus, everything on their menu is gluten free so it was very inclusive to our GF friends & family. They also let me play my own music. 10/10 recommend!Vegetarian options: Multiple menu options availableDietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free“
“Get Real Sandwiches is one of my favorite spots in Omaha! They do a classic sandwich with modern flavors and a foolproof delivery that makes for consistently delicious sammies! I love the atmosphere and aesthetic of their space in Blackstone and their Brunch menu is fantastic! Cannot recommend highly enough.Vegetarian options: Sweet Potato Sandwich is incredible. Mushroom Toast is great option. There is a great salad selection as well.“
“This is my favorite speakeasy I've been to. The drinks were some of the best I've had. The bartenders were so nice and have great suggestions. Love the theme of this speakeasy as well. This is a must go to for everyone who passes through omaha (and is over the age of 21 and a decent human)“
“WE LIVED FOR THIS PLACE!! The DJ, I cannot believe how superb his music choice was. My group was 60s to 21 and we all danced for hours. Melanie and Amber were fantastic waitresses. The drinks were GREAT prices and everyone was so friendly. The bartenders were so aware of the bar and assisting people the whole night. We ordered nachos and so tasty! We left and tried other places and STILL came back here. I travel a lot and would have to say this was hands down my favorite spot to dance and drink!“
“We went for Happy Hour. Fun decor, pleasant and knowledgeable wait staff. We had a charcuterie board and red wine. The board was very simple but good. It would not require much to elevate it to a really, nice board. Caution: it only served 2 people comfortably. They only offered a few $6 wines for Happy Hour; the rest were full price.I saw a nice sized party room. The bathrooms are down a shared hallway (you actually need to leave the bar). They were immaculate, but for safety sake, I would advise that women go in pairs if drinking alcohol.“
“Wonderful atmosphere. Kind severs. Drinks were a little expensive. I was a little disappointed in the server's lack of knowledge on the progressive party and Teddy Roosevelt's attempt at a 3rd term under the Bull-moose party. But, overall, a good experience.“
“Amazing drinks!! They really take the time to know their liquors and how to blend them together. Best Manhattan I've ever ordered!I was there for a company event and they had some appetizers set up at a table, was well displayed but I did not eat any....I mean drinks were free.I will definitely come again!“
“Well, I am from out of town, SE MN to be exact. I was recommended to come her from a local. Well, I arrived and Taylor was there to great me. She asked what I would like and I said and Olde Fashioned, she replied, what bourbon, I said dealer's choice. She chose well. The price/size of the beverage was just about perfect. Taylor was very friendly and knowledgeable. An added bonus, you all use the good cherries! Highly recommend going to this place for a drink or 2.“
“The atmosphere and decor here is unmatched. Such a unique speakeasy. Love the Alice in wonderland theme and the cocktails were decent. Expensive but on par with any speciality cocktail lounge. You gotta get at least one that they light on fire. All the staff were super sweet as well.“
“I went for lunch on a Friday with a colleague from work. Our service was wonderful, our waitress was a dear! The atmosphere was wonderful kind of a casual New Orleans/ French vibe but two things I think its needs (and these are kind of nitpicky): 1) for being New Orleans inspired the only thing that suggested that was the menu (and the name) some more ambiance would be nice and 2) the table was small. We sat at a table for two but between the drinks, appetizer plates, main course plates and then the bottles of hot sauce and other detritus there was no room on the table to actually comfortably eat!The food was wonderful but the reason I gave it a three is that there weren't a lot of options for non-red meat or non-pork eaters. Even the salads had bacon or pork sausage. I ended up getting a shrimp roll - which was wonderful but other than the spinach dip appetizer was basically the only thing I could order with out being obnoxious and asking for half the ingredients to be removed from a dish (which I have asked for before but I don't like being 'that' person.)Dietary restrictions: Be careful not a lot of options“
“The atmosphere is amazing here, it's beautiful on the inside and has wonderful beautiful people who work there! EVERYTHING on the menu is DELICIOUS! I especially enjoyed the beautiful Starry Night cocktail, others in our group loves the orange julius cocktail and creme brulee martini. The crab and artichoke dip starter was so delicious and I could easily go here for that alone! The Argentinan Pork was delicious as well! Amazing flavor! We were so full we didn't try any desserts but the dinner and drinks were wonderful! We appreciate the staff being so accommodating, and loved the surprise photo bomb in one of our group photos:) this place is definitely a hidden ✨ gem ✨“
“What a cozy and fun bar! Came here for a night out for drinks on a saturday night with some family and friends! they had great drink options from beer to wine to cocktails! i had some of their espresso martinis and they were so yummy!! they bartender made the perfect blend of espresso and vodka, definitely was my favorite drink of the night :) we had great servers, they were super attentive and quick for refills! will be coming back :)“
“This place is 350 feet from my house, and it's taken over a year for me to experience. Shame on me! This place is great.Located in the basement of a former residential hotel-turned-apartments, this place is actually a re-creation of the original Red Lion, a jazz club located in the same place. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, the staff warm and knowledgeable, without the least bit of pretense, which is increasingly rare in Blackstone. Framed photos of famous jazz musicians line the walls, as do high-backed, semi- circular booths, reminiscent of old- school Hollywood haunts. The prices are reasonable, too. You must experience this. It is truly unique.“
“Great little downstairs bar in the Old Market area. No food service, but a great drink selection and service was always super fast and friendly. Restrooms were well-lit and clean. You can see the stage from pretty much every part of the bar and the sound was great! Friendly, welcoming crowd there, and a wide age-range.I'd definitely go back!“
“We love Josephine's Cozy Corner! It's always chill here and the service is great. Make sure you try out a Scooby Doo shot while you're here as it's the best! There is a pool table and it's a really cozy spot for couples or small groups. A hidden gem in Omaha!“
“I have only been here twice, but both times I have loved the experience! The bartender really knows their stuff, and is good at balancing attending to patrons, memorizing orders to mix, and making conversation if you are sitting at the bar. Every drink I have seen comes out beautifully and each one I've tasted even more so. I have enjoyed trying the funky seasonal creations, and want to keep coming back for each new menu. I have not tried the NA drinks, but really appreciate that they are an option!!Drinks aside, I LOVE the small atmosphere, the quirky design of the interior, and whoever plays DJ deserves a raise. I would feel comfortable bringing anyone who enjoys cocktails or mocktails here, because of how inviting this place is.“
“THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED. I am somewhat of a burger connoisseur. So, the "Omaha's Best Burger" claim clearly needed to be tested. You gotta know what category you are in to correctly rate a burger. The way I see things, there are 3 burger categories: Category #1: the cheap fast food burger (think McDonalds) Category #2: The bouje fast food burger (think In-N-Out) Category #3: The craft burger (think pub) Dinkers' burgers are an anomaly and may force me to create a category between 2 and 3. It almost feels like a fast food joint in the way you order. However, the burger comes out quick and hot. To really get the full Dinkers experience, the buyer must order multiple patties.Every patty added makes the burger better. Fries are great and the beer selection was top notch.“
“This quaint breakfast venue offered a delightful dining experience, with the Eggs Benedict being a particularly outstanding dish. The menu provided a variety of sugary options that appealed to children, adding a versatile touch to their offerings. While it may not ascend to the pinnacle of all breakfast establishments I have visited, it certainly stands far from being subpar. The diner delivers a commendably pleasant experience, comfortably situating itself as a middle-of-the-road option that merges quality with a cozy atmosphere. This balance between exceptional dishes and a family-friendly environment makes it a noteworthy option for those seeking a satisfying meal in a casual setting.“
“Went here for the 1st time, and ended up returning 2 more times within 2 weeks. It was so good!!! So many options to choose from, and your food is served really fast, mimosas were great too!! Loved the waitresses as well! Definitely one of my top breakfast restaurants!!“
“Decided to do a pizza run and try a few of Omaha's offerings. Here, I would recommend the bianco. 4.25 stars That was the only one I had.... and I enjoyed it. It's got a nice crispy crust. My friend thought too much cornmeal, but I was ok with it.I gave Lyles a 5 star because we ended up getting a discount on ours, and with it, the price for the pizza was a good deal. They have a parking lot next to the building which is nice, but it was still pretty packed.Included a video of me grabbing a piece to show size“
“The blueberry poundcake is great, it's not too sweet and that really allows the blueberries come through naturally.Context: I've been coming here for 5+ years. The only times I don't like being here is right before showtimes at the Orpheum (check current shows to avoid the rush). They're not lacking for customers, and they have always, in my experience, delivered quality food and drinks. Their rotating menu selection is always a joy to look forward to.If you want to experience it more intimately/get a feel for it, go at around 5pm, on Sunday, or right after a showtime starts at the Orpheum.(Photos are of the mbti menu, the blueberry poundcake, and the tres leches.)“
“The menu has rotated again!! Of course it's awesome. Some great hot drinks to warm the soul Irish Coffee pictured below.Try the other warm one with a hint of orange and cognac.Be sure to try them if you are looking for an amazing old fashion .“
“I wish I had taken photos! I have been hoping for a martini bar in Omaha for so long and Stuffed Olive delivered. I got the delicious chocolate cake martini and the crab Rangoon dip! Our server gave great recommendations and was so helpful! Super chic decor and dim lighting with the perfect amount of volume made this venue perfect! Not too loud, great vibe and great options!“
“During our most recent visits to Omaha, we set out as usual to research and visit any potential stand out craft cocktail bars. My searches led us to a few places including The Berry & Rye.Our conclusion? The Berry & Rye was the most unique and exceptional craft cocktail bar we visited. It had a true unique and independent vibe, The decor was posh, swank and vibrantly eclectic and classy, the mixologist was super cool and chill, welcoming and hospitable, and talented and independently innovative. We enjoyed our craft cocktails; and then I enjoyed a pour of my favorite Italian digestíf (Braulio) afterwards.“
“I am not sure how this place is for a bar, although it looked like a fun crowd on even a week night. However I do love this place because it is one of the few, scratch that, the only BAR AND GAS STATION that I have ever seen. You can get cheaper fuel here than anywhere else in the area. You just need to pay cash inside.I think that is a perfectly good reason to check the place out. It is something everyone should see.“
“Came here for the first time on a cold Monday night, because it was my sister's last night in town, so I'm not surprised that it was pretty dead & there wasn't a lot going on. Would definitely like to come back when there's a show going on or something. The space is very cute & cozy, I love the wainscoting & the the wallpaper & the light fixtures. Feels like an old house. There's a little library nook with a cool vintage couch. However, the lighting was so dark that it was hard to appreciate the design of it all. Accompanied my sister when she went out to smoke on the patio & the heater on the awning was nice. Her friend bought everyone one of these sake in a juice box. Never heard of it before so not sure if they're common or a rare find, but how cute! Overall the experience was good but because it was so dark, kinda quiet & mostly empty, it almost lulled me to sleep. I'll have to check it out another time & give an update.“
“Really chill vibe here, which was beguiling on arrival. It looks retro, throwback, 70s funk meets NY speakeasy. We didn't know what to expect, but this exceeded it.The cocktails were all pretty good and well-crafted, especially the mezcal-based one with thyme oil. Service was that middle distance where they mainly leave you alone but they're very helpful, friendly, and personal when they do engage. Music was fantastic. Exactly the right volume, with beats that made you feel alive and happy at an almost subconscious level. I'd be interested in stopping back in for some off the menu cocktails and see how those go. This could well be an under the radar 5-star lounge.“
“What a fun place to go for a chill weekend night out! There is a good amount of seating at this outdoor area. There is some seating under a large pergola and more tables with umbrellas. These are attached to a grassy area with some lawn games. Overall just a fun environment. There is a small bar that serves some cocktails along with high noons and beers. The pretty cocktails were refreshing and delicious. The lines for drinks can be lengthy on a busy night but it moves fairly quickly. This would be a great spot to get together with friends or family earlier in the night. It's a fun spot to sit outdoors and sip on some drinks. We went on a night where they were doing salsa lessons which was a blast!“
“Came in for a couple of after dinner drinks. The bartender was so nice and friendly! She was just so personable and fun!The first two draws of Modelo were great, then the third was very flat and tasted odd. Not sure if something happened with the tap, if it got changed or what, but the bartender was wonderful through fixing everything.“
“If you're staying at the Westin Element, this is connected to the entrance to the property in a weird sort of way. Bourbon, Scotch, and whisky is their game. Lots of rare, allocated bottles. If you've ever wanted to try something before you plop down $80 at a store, I recommend a place like this. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and timely. Bonus if you visit on Wednesday night. ALL whiskies are 25% off.“
“We opted for the Good Evans (GE) brunch and were treated to Celeste's cheerful service in a bright, comfortable setting. Their delightful dishes, GE Breakfast Pie with a biscuit & gravy side, and a Garden Omelette, sourdough (MIA but not missed), and dressed greens (wonderfully sweet surprise). Both dishes showcased stellar flavors and proved GENEROUS in portions, enough to take some home (not sure we could share one plate). We enjoyed our inaugural visit and were invited back as new regular customers. Thanks, Celeste and your kitchen teammates.“
“Awesome place! They serve food until midnight. Great place for good drinks and a good vibe. The cheeseburger is amazing and my new favorite burger in Omaha! And I'm not that into burgers that much, but this one is done right Good service and fun little concept where you call. Great fun place to eat and drink before a night out. Will definitely return!!“
“I cannot believe the huge portion sizes that they serve here. The gyro took up the entire plate. The gyro meat was cooked perfectly. It was crispy but not burnt, and the amount of toppings was perfect. The french fries were the large steak fries and they were hot, crispy and fresh. My friend go the chicken gyro and the Greek potatoes and they were full of wonderful flavor. The server was very nice and very attentive to our needs. I recommend getting there for lunch early, the dining room filled up pretty quickly.“
“Really great lunch here today. Our server (also the bar tender) was excellent, super friendly, and very attentive even with a busy room.Everything we had was really excellent. The fish & chips were just about perfect. Light, flavorful, and crispy batter with perfectly cooked flaky fish witbout being soggy -- really well done. The chips/fries were great as well, pretty sure they were made in house too.My partner had the Wagyu smash burger and loved it. The Mac and cheese (with bacon obviously) was also really very good. And the curry was a great and amazing surpise...so good.Loved it all. It's so great (and rare) to be able to write a review and have nothing but praise to give.We drove in from west O, and will be back for sure! Great job!“
“I've been going here for years while I was working. The cigar selection seems to vary but the service is always great and friendly. I've had many afternoons and nights here that are all great memories everytime I go back to Omaha this is always a high priority stop.“
“Stopped in for lunch and did their build-a-bowl option. Prime Rib Ball, El Diablo sauce (which isn't actually that spicy), and cheesy potatoes. It was really good and I will definitely be visiting again; I will probably opt for pasta in the bowl next time since my friend's bowl looked amazing with the rigatoni.Update: Been here a few more times since the original review and been to a lot of other restaurants in Omaha and this is easily top 3 for me. Always amazing food and great friendly service.“
“The food was delicious. It was busy, and the waitress was hurrying around to everyone. The food came out hot. Substituting vegetables for the rice was no problem.Dietary restrictions: There is a list of sides to substitute for rice and / or beans“
