The Dugout is a great little neighborhood dive bar at the north end of downtown Fremont. This was the busiest bar we visited in downtown Fremont on this particular Friday night. It was clear that we were outsiders, but the regulars welcomes us in and made us feel at home. The crowd was mostly middle aged and we walked in to several of them singing along with ELO on the juke box. Drinks were dirt cheap. This was our favorite straight-up bar in Fremont.

This is a very mellow and quiet bar, the crowd is usually fairly low. It's a tiny little bar downtown.Parking: There are parking spaces along both sides of the one-way road, as well as a full free parking lot just across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: This is ground level, no stairs, so it is easily accessible for wheelchairs.
