“Chuy’s has always been our go-to Mexican restaurant in Fremont. The steak tacos are so good. The tortillas are homemade which you won’t really find in many restaurants. I also like their chicken flautas. The service is always friendly. Chuy is an awesome owner. We highly recommend you giving them a shot. We always eat to-go but the inside looks cozy and has good lighting. If you like hot salsa, their chips come with a mild flavored salsa and the volcano heat hot salsa. ?”
“Food was excellent , blueberry and mango margarita was excellent, service was good but a bit forgetful and got a side wrong but we ate it anyway just a handful of tables there but one guy only working, he did seating ,bar tending , and server , special items on a grease board up front did not see them or would have considered a couple of them .Parking: Free street parking”
“I really like this place. Great experience on a Sunday in March 2024. Place was recommended by a local. Good food and sides. Four of us had different burgers and I had melt-in-your-mouth brisket- wow! Ordering was quick and food was delivered promptly to our table. Servers and the manager checked on us multiple times and refilled our water glasses. Good value, will definitely go again and recommend to friends.”
“this place never misses! i always get the pad thai or the drunken noodles and my fiancée gets the pad see ew and all dishes are all delicious along with their crab rangoons too. recommend this place if you’re craving some delicious warm noodles on a cold rainy day :)”
“I was in Alto after the White Light City Film Fest, and all the food was amazing! I even just had some cheesy breadsticks that I took home as leftovers a week later, and they were still delicious. The meatballs, the pizza, Cheesecake, fried Oreos . . .and several other items were all winners. My mixed drink was equally delectable. All staff were as agreeable as old friends. I will surely stop in whenever I am in Fremont.”
“We have eaten there several times. Food and service has always been excellent. My only complaints are the parking and difficulty of getting in and out the door. How can you not be handicap accessible?”
“I love to support the little mom and pop places such as this one. The owners put their heart into everything they make. We have come here for tacos and breakfast burritos and the occaciinal churro that is freshly fried and coated with cinnamon and sugar when ordered. So good! The establishment has a drive through but we always choose to go inside. It's really never too busy and the place is kept clean.”
“This visit was disappointing as the poor waitress seemed to be the only one working. The time delays for our beverages, appetizers AND entrees had at least 15-20 minutes in-between each of our dinner orders. At the beginning of our arrival, I told the waitress we were celebrating the birthday for our 17 yr old granddaughter & as we were leaving after being there for 2 hours+, she says "oops. I forgot your birthday ice cream" wewere already SO late, we could not come back to enjoy anymore time at Applebee's.”
“Service was quick. Ambiance is basic but the food was amazing. We had the chicken flautas and enchiladas. Portions were huge and some of the best I've had in the Midwest.”
“This is a unique hometown bar. Once you enter the bar, you're greeted walls that are lined with Silver Dollar coins(hense the bars name). The atmosphere is very good.”
“In retrospect, I'm so disappointed that i didn't take pictures. ?♂️ Tried the onion rings and brussel sprout appetizers. Loved the sprouts, very well prepared, tender and tasty. Rings were petty good as well. Thin cut, lightly breaded but well seasoned and plenty of them! I had the ribeye with mushrooms added. The shrooms came in kind of a light cream sauce in case that isn't your thing. I think it paired well. Steak was medium rare as requested and well seasoned. The side was a vegetable medley of broccoli, carrots and mashed potatoes. Service was attentive and pleasant. Great experience!”
“The place was understaffed so there was a little bit of a wait to be seated, but the food makes it worth waiting for. With being understaffed, every worker that did show up for work, did an amazing job and the food was, like I said, worth waiting for. The mashed potatoes with spinach and artichoke were out of this world good. If you have to wait a bit, walk out back and enjoy the outdoors and the carp you can feed from the deck.”
“I discovered this hidden gem in Fremont NE! I was interested in trying Guatemalan cuisine and I tried their large burrito. It’s the best and biggest burrito I’ve ever tried, and I’ve had lots of burritos before. I recommend smothering it in their delicious queso.”
“To tell the truth, I didn't have real high hopes for Mel's. However, the food, service, and ambiance were all A+. I had a club sandwich and fries for about $10. The sandwich was huge and it came with a good amount of fries. It takes a little more than the average meal to fill me up but I was full after eating 3 quarters of the sandwich and most of the fries. I will go back again.”
“Had been wanting to try Semo for a long time and it definitely lived up to the hype! Food, cocktails, and service were all great. Highly recommend the bread service with herb butter, SO good! Our entrees and dessert were also amazing. Worth the trip out to Fremont!”
