“This is one of the best places to grab breakfast, lunch or any dessert. I haven’t tried them all, but it’s definitely a goal of mine. The ice cream was at one time UNL Dairy, I’m not sure if it still is, but it is fantastic as well. The butterscotch is the best. I was in there a couple of years ago admiring a tiered chocolate cake. When I went to purchase the cake, the owner told me that she couldn’t sell it to me in good faith because it was old. She gifted me the cake! Not just a discount, the whole cake. I couldn’t believe it. We would have never known it wasn’t fresh baked. It was the best cake we’d ever had! Now it’s our go to place for cake. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes to get lost in a cool store. They have a little of everything for the kitchen.”

“Good morning, Kearney Nebraska! Let me just say that you have a hidden gem of a coffee shop in your just-east-of-center heart! I had to drive a bit to get there but it was worth every quarter mile even if I'd have had to crawl it! What a delightful little oasis in a mostly aggro-industrial area. As I pulled into the drive-through lane, I had to proceed very slowly and very cautiously so as not to knock into anything or knock anything down as I gawked at the beautiful decorations and a zillion tiny details that go into the making of this coffee oasis. A delight for the eyes before you even sip the joe. After my unfortunate experience yesterday morning, I was just hoping for good coffee before we hit the road, wheels pointed west. What I found was a sweet barista who was friendly and chatty, but not too much. When I asked about a flat white, she wasn't 100% sure so I explained that I just wanted two shots with about 4 - 6 oz of half and half. Of course she could make that. Of course she could. Because there's no special knowledge required...just a willing heart. It always makes my blood boil when I hear that a coffee show "can't" (read: won't) make a drink that literally has two ingredients in it. Ingredients that are easily at hand. But I digress. We waited a couple of moments while she made our drinks, a hot chocolate as well. Yes, whip cream, thank you! As we drove away, beginning our journey home, we were buoyed by the deliciousness in our cups. If anything, the flat white was stronger than it had to be but it was so good that I just sipped and enjoyed it.”

“Smallcakes made three 1/2 sheet cakes for a retirement party. The white cake was some of the best I’ve had. Sheryl was beyond helpful in designing the centerpiece cake. It was perfect. I would absolutely go to them again should I need cake for a crowd!”

Once every year or two I make the trip out to Colorado on I-80 and each time, I stop at this specific Pepperjax. I finally decided after 6+ visits over the last few years it was time I write a review. I’ve eaten at plenty of Pepperjax across the Midwest (and even worked at one) and can assure you this location stands among the best.

Standard order here - steak Philly with onion, mushroom, green + bananna pepper - with some house BBQ on the side. Side order of chips and salsa. Philly was (and has always been) cooked just right (NOT overdone) and portions of veggies were spot on. Chips were crispy (not stale) and salsa was super fresh.

Restaurant is squeaky clean. Service is prompt, friendly, and trained. Food quality is always outstanding and preparation is always correct. To me, consistency is the key indicator for quality - and I have always left pleasantly surprised thinking to myself…”yep, that’s how it’s supposed to be”.

Maybe I’m just lucky and catch them on a good day. But I think there’s a bit more going on here than just luck. Thank you, Kearney Pepperjax, for always being something to look forward to during my drives across Nebraska.”

“ordered our first pizza. got wings and 2 pizzas, $32. felt the wings were small and didn't get many. flavor was good for spicy one. pizza was more like a medium sized but tasted good not greasy. ingredient amount was awesome. Will get again. loved how you express your love for God on box.”

“Eileen's makes absolutely the most delicious cookies I personally have ever eaten! Whether it's one of their cookies in 3 inch size which are packaged, the 4 inch which is individual or their 16 inch cookie that is decorated the flavors are spot-on! Soft, oh, so soft! Great texture as well. Overall good value for a good cookie in my opinion. The only thing that annoys me personally is that when I buy more then one 4 inch cookies I also get 2 that have frosting on them, when my purchases are bagged up, they have all been stuffed into a little bag. This causes my frosting to get squished a little makes it messier to get cookies out of the bag. While I appreciate a smaller bag, I just wish that a slightly bigger bag is used. Otherwise I have no issues with Eileen's.

Parking: The archway mall parking lot sees a lot of traffic and it's an awkward parking lot to drive in, so caution is recommended because of the amount of traffic in this area.

Kid-friendliness: Staff is very patient and friendly to the customers, which is why I say it's kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's two places in this mall that have designated handicapped parking ares. Both locations of the spots are located near the entrance of Eileen's location. There is a bit of walking but it's doable.”

“A dart bar for sure! If you wanna find a BullShooter board and enjoy your night this is a good spot. The bar tender was really friendly and also really indulged in any thing I asked her. I asked for a towel with bleach on it with water, and she just gave it to me. Friendly service, good vibes. Older crowd, but who cares, get a stiff drink and talk to an old man/woman and make their day.”

Parking: The parking is at either end of the building, There are approximately 4 stalls on the North end of the building, including 1 handicapped accessible stall, and there are several other staĺls across the parking lot, on the South end of the building. People don't watch when they are pulling into the parking lot or when they are backing out of the parking stalls.”

“I was skeptical of this menu. I was wrong. It was really good. Fresh, hot and tasty. I’m a picky eater and a Runza is a ground beef product, so I approached it with a jaundiced eye. It’s not Wendy’s chili made of left over burger patties! Ground beef, spices and shredded cabbage all in proportion to the yeast roll it’s baked in. Savory and easy to enjoy. Admittedly I order mine with cheese. Delish. Insider tip, if you can get brown mustard or yellow in a pinch to add as a dipper that will make it even more tasty. The Frings were a great alternative to just fries or just onion rings, you get some of both, makes it easy to share too. Enjoy. I did.”

She took the time to help me get a rewards account and then took the time to listen to my grandkids order their sandwiches. The sandwiches were made exactly the way we ordered them.

Parking: Located inside the Crowne Plaza hotel and there might be some conflicts with restaurant and hotel patrons.”

I added spinach tomatoes and shredded cheese. I love it when I find a pizza place that uses fresh whole vegetables! I honestly enjoyed Gambino's! Customer Service was on point and sociable. Every time I go through the drive thru they give me sweet tea when I specifically ask for regular and very seldom do they get the toppings correct.
