The food is pretty good, but the menudo.. absolutely disgusting. They clearly did not prepare it right.. it smells sooo bad we couldn’t even eat it. Tacos 9/10 menudo 0/10 lol

I stopped in quick for a sit down lunch. I've always wanted to try this place. Kept it simple with a steak burrito. Food was amazing and was at my table in minutes. 10/10!

Taqueria El Rey is a great mom and pop Mexican restaurant. The food seems authentic, tastes delicious, and it was plentiful at a good price. I'm a nerdy caucasian guy but I felt welcomed and well served by the staff. The restaurant itself is small and basic but it's clean and well maintained. 4.5/5 stars, highly recommend!

The birria tacos were not good. Tasteless and hard to eat. Consommé was significantly worse than several others I’ve tried and cheese was not melty, chewy and difficult to eat. Tacos shells too hard. Friendly people. Overpriced terrible birria tacos.

The food is horrible. They gave us a teaspoon of soupy beans with a lot of rice, the birria tacos are horrible. The tortilla is too hard.
