“I only recently heard about Pepe’s Bistro through a friend and then saw their page on Instagram which intrigued me. I decided I needed to check it out asap. When I walked in I was warmly welcomed by the owner and was shown the menu. A cook quickly assisted me at the register and took my order. To my delight they had buffalo cauliflower tacos (I love buffalo cauliflower). $10 for four quality tacos with great ingredients. I work in a kitchen myself and frequently visit places where I feel there is no care or craftsmanship in their work unfortunately. My food here, not only looked, but tasted beautifully. Pepe’s Bistro treats this like an art, which it is. You guys know what you’re doing and I will without a doubt be back! It is so refreshing to see people that actually care about the work they do. Thank you for serving me a delicious meal! (Also I’m not vegetarian/vegan but this is a place where meat is not needed to have a fulfilling meal.)“
“My father is vegetarian, so we stopped here on our road trip so he could have something to eat. We got a burger, sandwich, and onion rings! They were absolutely delicious! My dad loved it and so did I, and I’m not even vegetarian! The owner was so nice and patient with my tree nut allergy and cooked everything separate for us. She was very friendly and made conversation with us. This restaurant is great, would highly recommend for anyone looking for good vegetarian and vegan food!“
“This place is amazing! I am visiting Lincoln for the week so this place is the one place I told myself I needed to eat at while here. It was so good I had lunch there two days in a row. the menu is very unique and full of flavor for sure. The employees were super kind, explained everything on the menu, and were happy to see me a 2nd day in a row. Highly recommend this place!“
“Quite literally one of the best places I’ve ever eaten. It’s so hard to find vegan/vegetarian food that isn’t the basic cheese as a substitute for meat or so ungodly expensive. The rib entree is AMAZING and I felt so comfortable ordering whatever I wanted off the menu because I knew it was 1. Gonna taste amazing and 2. Be safe for me to eat.“
