“This restaurant is worth stopping in McCook, NE. Trust me. The white corn tortillas and chips are hand made fresh, the salsa is beautiful, my tacos de alambre with chicken and chorizo were seasoned beautifully and served with very fresh pico de gallo, and a smoked chili salsa that was hot but out of this world! The beans had so much flavor. The place rocks and you'll have your best Mexican food ever!
The picture is bad as I had to decimate my food before.I could stop to take a photo! The prices are crazy good, so affordable!”

“Good sturdy drinks, yummy pizza, friendly service, fun crowd, decent pool tables, pool table in back away from crowd, comfy smoking patio, keno, pickle tickets and skilled gaming to try your luck! Friend actually hit for $10,000 and got paid! Small place but worth it!”

“First time eating here. was well worth the visit. Another hidden gem in Nebraska that I found. food was great and quick service. only disappointing thing was I couldn't get a malt as the machine was down . I love my old time malts. Maybe next time I will be able to get one. 👍👍”

“Was in this afternoon, after his normal business hours and he gladly prepared my quesadilla request of egg, cheese, veg mix, chicken, and shrimp. Was wonderful food and an interesting visit with that gentleman owner, originally from Zacatecas, MX. The good MX food here. Also a small grocery and gift area. Nice table and chair seating situation. Will absolutely return. Can dine in or take out.”

“Traveling the whole United states for AG repairs and previously growing up in the Seattle area. I never thought in McCook, Ne I would do so a restaurant that every appetizer was soo good we had to eat it all. Let alone the main event. Wow quite the menu. “Very good food and coffees. The Beaver Creek is my favorite sandwich on the menu, followed closely by the Apple Planter. The savory breakfast items, all baked treats and the Red Pepper Gouda soup are also delicious!

Vegetarian options: Desserts, donuts etc are vegetarian but would not recommend lunch for vegetarians as there are not options for vegetarian meals. You could, however, order a basic side salad and possibly a soup option that didn’t have meat if available such as the red pepper gouda soup. There is also a grilled cheese on the menu.”

“Chloe Weiss (I hope I spelled that right) at McCook’ Runza was absolutely wonderful! I had a really busy day at work and stopped for an easy dinner, feeling exhausted -and maybe a little crabby-, and I got to the window and Miss Chloe’s bubbly personality and positive attitude were so infectious that I found myself smiling and giggling along with her the whole time at the window, and I was grinning the whole way home. That great mood of hers really set my night up for success.
