Only reason I’m giving the extra star is because the chicken sandwich wasn’t terrible. Now what made this such a poor experience was waiting 35 minutes for just a chicken sandwich and over salted bottom of the bag fries. Plus, after waiting that long in the drive thru, I had to go in and wait another 15 minutes for more fries since they only gave me like 10 originally. Poor service and meh food, eat at your own risk!

I love this place and I am very sad to hear that it will soon be closing soon as it is my favorite breakfast place this side of town. If you’ve been wanting to try this place I strongly suggest that you do it now and stop waiting before it’s too late too experience it. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch chicken and waffles is absolutely incredible if you like sweet and savory. If your more of a classic breakfast person they have got you covered. The menu has something for just about everyone’s taste and if you can’t decide, the staff is great with recommendations. Like I said before, I’m really gonna miss this place.

Over Easy is a wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of Omaha, Nebraska! We stopped here for breakfast on a road trip and got a few different things. Everything tasted wonderful, from the food to the drinks! I got the chicken and waffles, and they were some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve had in a long time! I am craving them so much and I hope I’m back in the area again soon so I can have them again. I loved the combination of waffle, perfectly-seasoned chicken, fruits and the spicy honey sriracha. Every bite was so flavorful! This is an awesome place that should be your next breakfast visit. I know I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Omaha!

We spent $30 for two, we got a cup of coffee and two chicken and Japanese waffles, which were ready good! It’s a little pricey but the atmosphere was nice and it was quiet (We were there on Friday morning) Service was good, and they source from some local farms. We might have to come back here to try some other dishes, their menu was full of different ones we wanted to try.

Went for their Harry Potter themed breakfast. Food was excellent, drinks were better, service and atmosphere was best. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely awful. The menu online isn't what they have in the restaurant so we drove from midtown to get nothing that we actually wanted. This place was hyped up so much on omaha food lovers. If it was good, the changes that have taken place make it not worth the $ or drive. We went on a weekday so it wasn't busy. There were 3 waitresses and I had to flag them down each time we needed something because they drop the food and run before you have a chance to notice there isn't any jelly on the table or a place to put ketchup or ketchup (9-year old) for their plain fries. Ordered coffee and sat with an empty cup for 10 minutes. No one ever asked us if we were doing okay, needed anything, or enjoyed the meal. Dropped the check and left the table without offering a box for the obvious near full plate. The eggs and the hash brown holes were cold so I didn't eat them. Taking what was on my plate home to my dogs. Sad to see a place that came out of the gate "amazing" to what we experienced. If the owner reads this, you really need to spend time in your establishment before it goes under like all the other places that start strong.

Food was great, but the service left something to be desired. It was not very busy but it took quite some time for someone to come ask our drink order and then at least 20 minutes to receive those beverages. The staff member did not seem well versed in the menu when asked recommendations. The staff who brought our food seemed bothered by us asking for silverware. The experience overall left me not wanting to return.

Enter over easy and the server said seat yourself. There were 4 empty tables. We sat down and a server brought us menus and said your server will be right with you. Our server brought us two waters and asked if we’d like coffee. We declined and that was the last time she came to our table. About 10-15 minutes goes by and I asked another server a question about the menu. She answered politely. Our server was talking with customers at the bar and in and out of the kitchen. We had hoped that talking to the other server would have prompted someone to take our order. We had been there before and had great service. Unfortunately, there are too many other options with outstanding service. Needless to say we left and won’t be back.

Went in on a Tuesday am, 4 tables open, told to sit where we please. A server that did not have our table stopped by "to get you guys started with menus". Our server after a short time came over with water and offered coffee.. and that was the last we saw of her.. she was clearing checks then talking to other customers, then tapping fingers on counter. Did not acknowledge for 10-15 min.. other server clearing tables we asked her menu questions, did not offer to take order or send our server back so we left.. probably won't be back if we can't even get served when it's slow.. too many other options with better service

Well..not so easy at this attempt at hipster dining. First impression walking in .."please dont be a wait" as there is basically no hostess stand and the waiting/storage area is open to the weather. Of course...there was a wait...granted not the quoted 25 mins. But we were seated after 15 mins. Waitress brings out a pile of silverware and two napkins to share between 5 people. 4 ppl in our party order coffee. But alas, there are no spoons! I guess the forks are doing double duty. Menus come out...1 page limited menu. Normally I'd consider this restaraunt's selection as standard brekfast with a twist. (At least that is what they're attempting. On their specials menu they had a chicken fried steak con juevos rancheros. Due to dietary constraints that option was not a suitable one. So when it came time to order I asked the waitress if it was possible to dp a standard Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. (AN ITEM THAT TO MY UNDERSTANDING WAS A PREVIOUS STANDARD MENU ITEM..) The answer was a resounding no we cannot accommmodate that request with zero explanation. I would understand had i requested something totally off the menu. But...they had chicken fried steaks, they had eggs, they had gravy, all the neccessary items for the dish i requested. The waitress then requested i order another item. I was given approximately 30 seconds after having to re request a menu before the waitress was back wanting my order. Reluctantly, i ordered the biscuits and gravy. The "FOOD" comes out. One member of our party order chicken an waffles. The chicken...burnt..dry.. stringy. The waffle. Clearly made withe the same ingredients as the pancakes, had a sour and unappealling aftertaste that made it virtually inedible. My b and g; I am pretty sure was canned or made with factory precooked sausage (the shelf stable stuff that was perfectly uniform in shape.) The ham on one plate was covered in fat and had a consistency similar to bubble gum. The pancakes, like the "waffle" were sour. Additionally they were near burnt and nearly as flat as french crepes (not in a good way) The scrambled eggs were cooked correctly but were so cold that they lacked the ability to melt the neon orange shredded cheesefood that the cook placed on top as a garnish..The sausage patty resembled a hockey puck in shape and density. THE WAITRESS RETURNS to the table to clear plates . She asked if i would like a to go bag since I had only managed to choke down a few bites. I replied no thank you and indicated the meal had not been a very good one. She did not ask for details, she did not offer to remake anyone's meal. She left and returned with a full priced check. $100 completely wasted on terrible service and horrible food. The irony of the situation: Had i noticed the pile of vomit next to my car in the parking lot...we would have left immediately. If i could give this place zero stars I would

If you missed the Harry Potter brunch in October, you really missed out! As a huge Harry Potter fan, this brunch was so fun! The restaurant was decorated so cutely with no details left behind - from the floating keys on the ceiling to the "chamber of secret" being opened in the bathroom. The names of the foods were so fun as well and the food was delicious! You can't go without having a butter beer! Can't wait for October next year for another Harry Potter brunch!

The staff and the atmosphere was really great here. But it's such a small place and our food was not that great. We had eggs Benedict and the hollandaise was terrible. It was sour and had way too many herbs. I am all for putting your own twist on classic dishes but they missed the mark on this one.

Great food and great service. What a magical experience during their Harry Potter week.

This food was so good!! The only thing better than the food was the service. Being shorthanded the staff still smiled, were personable, gave info on the food, helped with questions, and when it slowed slightly they swung by to talk a bit more. I'm gluten free and there isn't much that is GF but what is there is AMAZING!! We will be back.Vegetarian options: There were at least a few vegetarian options on the menu. I was even considering some & I eat meat, but they sounded delicious.Kid-friendliness: It was October, so it was all Harry Potter decor and so much fun! This is why we went and there were so many kids there dressed up in HP gear.Parking: Great available parking. No issues.Dietary restrictions: I'm GF and even though there aren't a ton of options, the food was soooo good. I'll absolutely be back.

I have heard a lot of this place and I have been wanting to go here for a while so I finally decided to take a trip out west. There was a 45 mnt wait for a Sunday Brunch, which is pretty common but the service when we were in our table was terrible. The food was very good but it was not good enough that justifies all the time that we spent waiting for the server to come to us. We never got our water refilled and the server just stopped once are our table and it was to take our order. Besides this, they didn't bring the whole order at the same time, one of us got its order in about 20 mnts and the other order got to the table 20 mnts after the first order got to us. So by the time we both have our plates, one of us had to eat the food cold. Good food, but don't think I will be coming back since there are other places with same quality of food with better service.
