Great phillies and good service. I usually get takeout from pepperjax, and the food is still great when I arrive at home. The staff is always super cool and just generally pretty nice.
The remodeling of 174th & Center location was a great improvement on seating and customer traffic flow . WTG "JAX"Keeping the order line moving / flowing needs better management of cook staff preparing / planning the hot & fresh fries and chicken strips. We ordered 6 sandwiches and 3 orders of fries and only 1 order of fries available with the sandwiches served.... Cashier said 2 more orders fresh fries being prepared and will be right out.....?and 10 minutes later the fries arrived and we had finished our sandwiches.... and we ended up leaving 2 full orders behind basically tossing $10 in the trash

Whoever they got making food must be related to Helen Keller or something. Once I opened my sandwich it seemed to be overflowing with deliciousness only to b deceived to the fullest. They didn't even cut the bread so all the contents were on top just stuck to the cheese with an entire bread boat. Nothing but bread. All the other contents were loose in the box. Dryer than the Sahara dessert and just overall probably the worst sandwich I've ever had from pepperjax. Also asked for sauce which was on the receipt and it was forgotten so my Sammy dried up even more. I'd suggest a different location, this one is trash. WASTED MY MONEY. Oh btw both sandwiches were like this so it wasn't just a bad Sammy it was a bad Sammy artist ?
Nice portion of meat and veggies was pretty skimpy on the cheese but was so salty not able to eat the sandwich. Very disappointed to pay almost $11.00 for a single sub and ending up in the trash.

i love this place! the food always hits the spot and the fries are always gone within minutes because i eat them so fast. a few days ago i went and had the nicest guy server ever he was great! on the other hand, there is one girl who seems like she doesn’t like her job and isn’t that pleasant but she does her job right! pepper jax is great!

Like all the restaurants right now, it seems Pepper Jax is shrinking it's portions and/or raising their prices or charging for things they didn't use to. Ordered a steak salad, and they were gonna charge $3.50 for a side of Jax queso, almost a third the cost of the salad. The Philly Steak sandwich was good, as always though.
I go there often. They are super consistent. Good staff as well. I dont recall ever seeing any mess. Model location for the chain.

My family was excited to order from one of our favorites tonight - PepperJax! We ordered 5 Phillie Steak Subs on line. We were excited to have a night in and watch Ted Lasso while eating our steak subs. 4 of the subs were requested to have cheese and the 5th cheese was not picked to have cheese. Needless to say, cheese was on all subs. I absolutely do not like cheese on my sub. Therefore, we made sure that cheese was not selected for my sub. It was very upsetting that our evening of family time was disrupted but our ordering being made incorrectly. I called and spoke to the manager. He said that he clearly remembers the large order and told me that because we did not order correctly on line that essentially this was my fault. His crew didn’t know what to do. He did offer to remake it and I asked if he’d add fries with it for the inconvenience. He said yes. My son went to go pick up my remade order after he ate. He came back with just a sub. No fries. My son said that the manager and crew gave him no eye contact and ignored him. The cashier gave him my sub. There was no conversation or apology. My son said that he felt very awkward and uncomfortable. No business should make their customers feel that way! Truly a disappointment and very unprofessional. It will be a while before wecome back.
