“Great place to reserve for a large group or party! Saro kindly hosted my graduation party and it was the most wonderful experience. The layout is open in such a way that I did not feel like anyone was excluded during the party because we could always have eyes on everyone there. The turnout was quick throughout the entire night for drinks and we never ran out of yummy easily snackable plates. As an added bonus, everything on their menu is gluten free so it was very inclusive to our GF friends & family. “My husband and I were in town for our yearly anniversary adventure. We had spent the day enjoying the town. We stopped in to have a few drinks before hitting the hotel. The bar tenders working was amazing. They were very personable and had great attitudes. The conversation was great. Loved they had games you could play. Hubby won battle ship and connect four. It truly was a fabulous place to end our evening and last night on our trip. I would recommend this little place, hands down, we loved it. My hot tottie was top notch. There was limited seating and it did get fairly loud, but overall it was a cute aesthetic and a great coffee shop to meet up with friends. “Fairly versatile menu . Appetizers Soups salads sandwiches burgers pizza enchiladas. Our server was very accommodating, taking time to explain things and listening to our needs. The atmosphere was much nicer than I expected as far as decor, but I didn't feel out of place. I love the little lamps and small fresh flowers on the table. Dad had the walleye special with Cole slaw and sautéed red potatoes. He ate it all and loved it. I had the chicken spinach and artichoke pizza. Cut party style and very thin crust but tasty. Our guests had the pork tenderloin with friends and the steak enchilada. She did not care for the fries but the tenderloin was good. The enchilada was favorable but larger than expected. All in all we will be back and am anxious to try other items on the menu. Oh and the margaritas were fantastic! Table of four was $200 with tip but we had 5 margaritas at $11 each a $30 pizza and spinach artichoke appetizer“

“I loved my visit to Brickway. I had the Sherry Cask, Singlemalt, Rye, and Double Bourbon. I also tried the brandy and the root beer schnapps.I loved the whiskeys! I make it a point to try and sample as many different whiskeys as possible. I have never had a rye and a single malt taste like that before! Extraordinary!The staff were cool too! They chatted us up since we were from Wyoming and gave us tips for all the things to check out in the Old Market area. I had to get a few bottles to take back home for some friends. I was on a date a couple of weeks ago and stepped outside to smoke, one of the bartenders came out and pulled me to the side saying that she wanted to ask how well I knew my date because he went to the bathroom after ordering my drink and it seemed off. He kept scrutinizing my every bite. I paid no mind, and kept eating. I love the spicy fish inside the Alaskan roll so much! The rolls are very generous in size and super fresh. “What a fun place to go for a chill weekend night out! There is a good amount of seating at this outdoor area. There is some seating under a large pergola and more tables with umbrellas. These are attached to a grassy area with some lawn games. Overall just a fun environment. There is a small bar that serves some cocktails along with high noons and beers. The pretty cocktails were refreshing and delicious. The lines for drinks can be lengthy on a busy night but it moves fairly quickly. This would be a great spot to get together with friends or family earlier in the night. It's a fun spot to sit outdoors and sip on some drinks. We went on a night where they were doing salsa lessons which was a blast!“

“I stopped at American Shaman in Old Market on a lark, looking for a coffee (and a bathroom). I didn't have any prior experience with the products for sale in Nebraska, so this was a happy, educational and therapeutic (more on that later) experience for me. I am a consumer of cannabis products, but I mostly smoke bud. I ordered a mocha coffee infused with what believe was hemp derived THCA. While I sipped on the drink I had a nice conversation with the owner Mike. He was friendly, empathetic and very knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable and safe. I Ubered back to my hotel, as I didn't know how this was going to hit. When it did I felt my ego melt and I started to write. I felt very creative and I had some mental breakthroughs I have been stuck on for some time. I'm not suggesting that this is a typical reaction to this product, I'm only relating what happened to me. It was a beautiful and mind expanding experience. I felt no anxiety or paranoia. The store is also in a really beautiful area in the Old Market neighborhood in Omaha. About six beers on tap, but a surprisingly broad can/bottle selection in the glass cooler, including Duvel and Delerium Tremens! “We showed up later in the evening when things were perhaps winding down and it would have been easy for the wait staff to write us off as a nuisance will doing their closing routine for the evening. Instead, we were shown some amazing hospitality from Paul, our bar tender who made our visit very relaxed and fun.The lounge is truly that. After sitting in a half broken mini chair at the comedy club all night it was nice to breathe easy in one of the plush stools at the bar and enjoy an amazing "old fashioned" that was made to perfection. Ending our night here was great decision and even though I don't live in Omaha, I would definitely go back. Many times your staff can either make or break your venue, and on this night, the bar tender Paul did an amazing job at representing his employer/business as well as making us feel welcome.“

“My wife and I went here for a valentines date. We had some fries as an appetizer as well as the bread plate. For main course she had the beef bourguignon and I had beef Wellington. The service was fantastic and the food was good. For the price I just didn't feel like the meals matched our expectations. The bourguignon and the beef Wellington were good but not any better than our homemade bourguignon and beef wellington. Seems like the fanciness of the restaurant doesn't align with the presentation and quality of the dishes. Still a 4 star experience just nothing that stood out to make me want to come back when Omaha has some much better options in the same price range.“

The food is good (PRETZELS!!!!) and the staff I've dealt with are genuinely interested in my overall experience. Does it get busy on weekends? Yes. All the bars down there do, and so you don't go in for fast food, you go for fun, beer and friends. They brew their own beer and have a guest beer as well. Sours, IPAs, Lagers, etc... and my favorite thing is to try what's new. FREE SAMPLES!!!! This staff will know you after you've stopped in a few times, and you are treated like honored family. Fun attitudes, great sense of humor. Their major fault is that the staff are largely Cub fans, but even a Cardinal fan can feel at home. It's not a sports bar, so you can relax and converse with whoever came with you, or sit at the bar and chat with the patrons, bartender and staff... all very friendly. :)“

The waffle cone is homemade and super crispy! Pairs perfectly with their ice cream. Their popular flavor is the blackstone butterbrickle! I personally love their birthday cake (not featured when I went) & the Grandma Minnie's lemon bar ! The small chunks of the lemon bar is absolutely fabulous! It was my first time trying the key lime pie, it was great, super tarty & creamy at the same time! I personally would say it is something that could get overwhelming with how tarty it is, but super subjective! I love how Coneflower supports local businesses such as Archetype Coffee (right across the street) and uses their coffee to make their ice cream version of it & it's one of my go to's!! If you're a coffee lover, do not skip on this! Coneflower is always so busy - long line but it won't take forever until it's your turn! Employees work quickly & always encourage you to try new flavors! The layout is very limited. Some seating on the inside with about 3 round tables to accommodate 2-5 individuals to one table. Outside there are 2 bench areas to fit 4 people per table! Snag a table while you can, otherwise you may be lucky to find a bend near the store front on your right when walking out!“
