The entrees all seem to be variations of the same thing. Meat, Rice, Beans, and/or Plantains. Not much variety or imagination.

I was really excited to try this place. I like the location (rockbrook village) for how quickly you can get in and off the interstate right before or after your meal. The look of the restaurant is urban and cool as well, but the food was just okay. I had the plantains and tried a few of my friends meals too. The service we received was great as well, but nothing was insanely tasty in my opinion. The one thing they did right was the chocolate shakes! Maybe not so much for dinner but if you're craving a ridiculously insane shake, this is your place!

Food was ok, Staff was meh, visually the milkshakes are awesome. The Pork Belly burger was our favorite. The kids cheeseburger is a cheap patty. Overall it's an ok place to go.

Food was good! I enjoyed the atmosphere! Milkshake is huge and very authentic food! Fast delivery of food as well which is good! Some constructive criticism: server was nice but no one picked up the plates after we were done or the menus. It was kind of messy. Especially when we ordered desserts. I just feel its table side manner to help clean the table after people are done. Especially when it's not super busy and people are standing around. Being a previous server, that would be my only complaint.

First I'd start off with saying, that was the best chips and salsas I've had in Omaha, not to chunky and not watery at all with the perfect amount of cilantro in it! The food was amazing and delicious! And the milkshake at the end split between two of us was great! Loved everything about this place and I'd highly recommend you try it out!! I do wish they would be open more though not gonna lie.

No idea why i waited so long to try this place! It's one of the best restaurants I've been to here in Omaha! The staff was really friendly from the host to our waitress. I really liked the atmosphere this place had great service drinks and food. They start you off with free chips and salsa which was really good you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The menu has so many good looking choices it was hard to decide. We went with an appetizer of the Pastelitos de carne y papa and for my meal I went with the Double Hamburguesa La Calle with a beef patty and pork belly. This burger was so good and packed with flavors it's now one of my favorites in town! I would recommend if you haven't tried this spot get here asap!

This was our first time here and we kinda happened upon it by accident. We had 12 people in our party and we got a great big picnic table in front. Between the 12 of us we probably ordered eight different meals and according to our party everything was delicious. We couldn't pronounce half of the menu items but they do have small print as to what the item is, for example chicken with rice Carne Asada, On a bun etc. I did get the nachos and it was OK. I don't wanna downplay it because I'm used to the American made nachos where you have tomatoes beef or chicken melted cheese jalapeños onions black olives etc., but they were still good. There was a gentleman by the name of CJ, very very nice and very helpful, very polite. He wasn't even our waiter, but one of our party members asked for more water and he said, "of course," and asked if there was anything else that he could take from our table, get anything else for us, to go boxes, etc. The atmosphere was nice, very laid-back and very comfortable. We would definitely go there again.

Want to try something different? The menu here has a good variety of authentic Latin Cuisine & crafted cocktails. Their Mai Tai is pretty tasty! Fresh chips and salsa are brought out to every table. The salsa is liquidity; not chunky, the chips are hearty. There's definitely a lot of interesting items on the menu that I'm not familiar with so I picked a meat platter with a side of rice & beans. The Latin flavors are different than what I'm used to but I enjoyed it. If you haven't been here you should taste the Latin cuisine & see what you've been missing!

Staff was all polite, especially our server (CJ I think was their name?) Food was also very good. We go here every year for my birthday and Hunger Block never disappoints!!
